My Chipper loves this oat hay, I give it to him as a change from his regular timothy hay and he loves the flavor of it. I recommend this to all cavy parents!!
Pros: smell, taste, price

The Kaytee brand orchard grass has greener and longer strands. I'm unsure if the Oxbow is healthier, but Kaytee Orchard grass is less messy and my rabbits seem to enjoy it more. They like to sit there like cowboys with a long strand of grass in their mouths forever-chewing.

I mix oat hay with their timothy hay & orchard grass and my 2 rabbits go bananas for it!! They LOVE this stuff. My mini-rex Hazelnut has had chronic dental issues (used to get her molars trimmed yearly), but ever since feeding her this, I have not had to make a trip to the vet! It is also very good for their digestive system (Hazelnut also has chronic GI issues...). My male Billy Bob also loves it!! They will eat it at the same (as soon as I put it down for them) time until it is pretty much all gone. I highly recommend using it to supplement timothy hay!

When I put two handfuls of this, Cooper ate it right away! It's also at a great price and if you have a small breed of rabbit/guinea pig, it would probaly last for a week or so, depends on how much it eats. The smell is not too strong. Would recommend! :)
