We bought this toy for multiple reasons. We have rats and used the log as a hidey/sleep/play for the rats. They LOVE it. The squeaky squirrels went to our terrier. She absolutely loves running around and squeaking them. Great for both species! 4 girl rats love it. Our female terrier, her sister, and dad all love the squirrels.

I got this toy for my 6 year old 6 lb chihaha . She loves to chase the the squeals when I throw them. She also loves to dig them aot of the tree. When she is done she puts the square in her crate and sleeps with them.

Our dog can play with this toy for hours on end, hauling the entire toy with him or taking each squirrel out and playing with them one at a time. At first, he had to learn how to get them out but soon he could pull all three out in seconds. He has such fun with and we enjoy watching him play with it. He likes to take the squirrels out and hide them in various places then go back and find them. Because he is a terrier, I expected him to tear the toy up quickly but we have had it over two months now with minimal wear. Well worth the price!!

I really like this toy but, when I got home and gave it to my pet there were only 2 toys and not 3. My puppy loves this toy but, make sure there are 3 toys in there before you buy it!

Teddy got this for Christmas. He was soo excited about it and loved it at first glance. He loves the squirrels and enjoys taking them out of the trunk. I would definitely buy this again, even though it is a tad expensive. Plus, there is cardboard at the bottom of the trunk, and it is bent already. But, he plays with it almost every day.

I have two Shih Tzus and they fight over the squirrels. At first they were only interested in the squirrels, but I kept putting the back in the log and they figured out what a fun game it was trying to get them out. One would rather pick up the whole log and shake them out though!

Wow, I was surprised by how much my dog loves this! I purchased several puzzle type toys for her. At first, she didn't seem interested and just pulled out one squirrel to play with, but now, she digs around for all of them and then brings the empty log back to me.
This is easier than some of the other puzzles since the holes are big so this could be a good place to start with your dog before moving on to some of the tougher ones. At this point, she gets them all out in under a minute so this isn't something that will keep your dog occupied for a long time, but its definitely fun if you're playing together!
My only (minor) complaint is that the hair fell off of one of the squirrels within a few days, but other than that, this is held up well.

My dog LOVES these squirrels, I pick up a new one for him every time I see it in stock at the store. These are the only toys that he does not destroy in minutes, with the exception of the stump, that he does tear apart. He has 12 squirrels now and loves them all!

I have two Maltese and they got this toy for Christmas. They LOVED the squirrels! They couldn't really figure out how to remove them from the "house", so they pretty much didn't play with that part of it but they were constantly bickering over the squirrels. As most "soft" toys in my house, they were destroyed after a few weeks of regular play, but definitely a good purchase!

We recently adopted a great big (105 lb.) rottie/lab mix who spent a year in a no-kill shelter. He is wicked smart and likes to stay busy. This toy engaged him right away. He just loves it and he has all kinds of fun with it. He shakes the squirrels out and squeaks them, etc.. Great toy for a smart, active dog!

I bought this toy for my Pug and Aussie puppies when they were about three months old. They are a year old now and it is still their favorite toy. It keeps them entertained and out of trouble. Sometimes I hide treats or other toys in the stump.

I highly recommend this toy.

My dogs love this toy! They love diggin in the log to find and pull out the squirrels. The best part is it keeps them busy. I can stuff the squirrels back into the log and they can discover them all over again.

I got this toy for my dog, and she loves it! The squirrels all squeak. This is fun for my playful pup of 8 months. She likes finding the squirrels and digging them out as well as taking them one by one and playing with them like a stuffed toy. I get a kick out of watching her enjoy them. It's such a cute design.
