I bought these for my turtle when she was sick. I needed a way for her to climb onto some bricks that I had set up for her. They served well for that purpose.

Now, they're in an aquarium with my Oscar. I just threw them in there and they lay nicely on the floor of the tank. Makes it look a little better.

These are great for rearranging to make your tank at home for your pet. I have turtle and rather than buy a basking station I bought a bunch of these and stacked them. It gives a natural look to it and creates little caves and crevices that they like to hide in when they aren't basking up top. Also I have a floating basking area in my tank and my turtles prefer the rocks anyway, and hardly go after the basking area once I put the rocks in.

I bought about three bags already, which is the downfall. If you really want to use these in bigger tanks you need to buy more and more and more of them. Otherwise I'm content with them, and so are my turtles!

Pros: easy to clean, stack to make your aquarium unique, brings a natural vibe to habitat

Cons: not enough in a single bag, time consuming to stack and find the right fit

I bought this thinking it would be great for my lizard lucky to bask and sleep on and under. but when i put it up it kept falling down and when it stayed up and my lizard went on it it fell down. so now i use them for wearing down my tortious and lizard's nails.

Pros: great for wearing down nails

Cons: wont do what it is designed to do
