I bought this toy for our 9 month black lab/American pit bull terrier mix. It seemed durable, and I even pulled on the legs to see if they would come off. However, as soon as I gave it to our pup, she destroyed it in a matter of seconds ripping the face apart and then eventually tearing the whole thing to pieces. It is definitely not as strong as it appears.

Hobo, a blue heeler, loved this toy! I didn't. He started playing the toy by shaking it back and forth in his mouth and within 2 minutes, the toy was coming apart at the seams and the inside stuffing was showing. Within 2 minutes later, 2 legs flew off. Hobo was entertained, but it was destroyed in less than 5 minutes.

Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained

Cons: easily destroyed

If your dog just likes to play, then this toy might be fine for you. However, if your pooch is like our beagle --if their greatest joy derives from the energetic destruction of a brightly colored toy-- then give this one a pass. At the five minute mark, the nose was gone. By 10, fluffy innards were spilling out. After 20 minutes, our living room resembled the crime scene left behind by a particularly vicious stuffed animal serial killer. Poor little red squeaky dog. You never stood a chance. (and yes, every bit of the fuzz in the pictures was once on the inside).

My 1 year old Boston Terrier Riley loved the Squeaky Freaks Nylon Dog Toy... we called him "red dog" but unfortunately red dog didn't hold up to the heavy chewing as his nylon covering was easily shredded. We tossed the toy a couple of weeks ago and are still finding strands in the carpet. Riley wasn't happy about us tossing red dog and tried repeatedly to save the toy from the trash, but we were concerned about the stuffing and strands that were coming off of the toy. It's a shame.

Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained

Cons: easily destroyed

My five month old Corgi chewed the nylon strings apart from the toy in 10 minutes flat. There was red string everywhere and I was forced to throw it away.

My westie loves this toy. Unfortunately, it's not terribly durable, so he doesn't get much face time with it before I have to take it away and stitch it back up. He loves all the squeakers in it, and it's a good size and weight.

I bought this toy today for my Boggle(half Boston Terrier/half Beagle) and she already tore it apart there was stuffing and squeakers everywhere! She loved this toy though but not reccommended for excessive chewers. It was nice while it lasted kept her busy for a little bit I don't think I'll ever find a toy that she won't destroy in a day!
