I bought one of these for my 10 lb. cat, M. She went to the vet in it, settled right down, and was in it for 3 hours with no problem. So later I bought another for the second cat T. We put them in the carriers in the car, and T was able to push his way out quite easily within 2 minutes. The cardboard 'hooks' yielded and he was out. When M saw that he was out, she pushed out of hers as well. We drove with them sitting free on the seats. I will use my boxes for storing stuff, but not for cats again.

Pros: easy to assemble, price

I'm the cat lady and three of my five cats are still kittens and this box served it's purpose. It helped to get them home and to babysitters. I wouldn't recommended for cats as I doubt it's strength or durability. Currently it's a big toy box and they're having fun with it.

Pros: comfortable, easy to assemble, easy to clean

Cons: price, difficult to clean, fragile

Honestly, you guys think a cat would REALLY fit in this thing?
I used to keep gerbils, and once, we had to take one to the vet (think it had a gum infection or something, it was like 10 years ago, sue me), and this was perfect for the job, because believe me, a glass tank is NOT the easiest to lug around.
If you want a carrier for a cat or something, I think they make travel cages for small dogs and such. I'm not the dog/cat expert here, but I'm smart enough to know that keeping anything bigger than a guinea pig in this thing would probably be traumatizing.

When I got my guinea pigs they put them and this so we could take them home, they were trying to runaround so we had to hold them. This is probally big enough for only 1 gerbil, baby hamster, or small mouse. This is WAY TO SMALL!

It is kinda good but... it is very small my cat freaked out in it, it needs to be sturdier because my cat urinated in it and it made a hole, and it should be FREE!!!!!!

Both of my cats went to the vet to get their spay surgery.I only had one plastic carrier. I bought this because I needed an extra one for my other cat. My cat seemed comfortable in it. The box has enough circle shaped holes in it for more than enough air circulation. I think my cat didn't get too upset with her car ride because there are not a lot of big spaces to see out of. The price fit my budget. The carrier served its purpose.

This is a 100% waste of money. Bring your own cardboard box! This is a horriable, small, uncomfortable CARBOARD BOX that cant even hold a kitten in!

I bought two for my Guinea Pigs, and they straight up hated it!

We live only 5 miles from the store, this carrier didn't last the trip. Our five month old kitten 'ate' her way out of the box before we could get home.

Even for a quick fix for traveling, this boxed carrier is simply too small for anything but tiny kittens. My cat, who usually isn't a travel complainer, hated this box for lack of size. The cardboard carriers given out at the local shelters are different and a bit bigger and better. Go for those instead of these.

I was given this to purchase when I adopted an adult cat through a rescue society at a petsmart. My cat hated it! She kept pawing and bucking her head against it and she finally busted through the closed top on the drive home. Thankfully it was in the car and not in a parking lot or outside. After she busted out, she just sat on the front seat with me, calm and comfortable. I would rather have had the option instead of being told I had to purchasing the carrier, to have the option to have the amount for the carrier taken off the price of a permanent pet carrier. I hope the money I spent on the carrier goes to adoption services, or else I wasted my money.

I bought one of these carriers when I rescued my cat Basil from a rescue in a PetSmart in Horsham, Pa. The carrier kept my new cat safe and secure for a nearly 4 hour ride. I did have to get rid of it when I got home, but very useful for the price!

Pros: price, easy to assemble

Fantastic to have for strays. They get a safe trip to the shelter and you don't have to clean it after. Just drop it off with them and replace. I keep several on hand and my animals don't glare are me for using their carriers for the strays.
