We bought a Black Moore Goldfish and 5 Fancy Guppies. The black Moore gets along very well with the other fish in the tank. I would totally recommend them.

I've had my Black Moor, Buggy, for over a year, and he's absolutely adorable! He has some crazy antiques of eating and spitting out air bubbles, and he's super friendly. He'll come greet you when you come near the tank. I would definitely recommend Black Moors to more experienced fish owners who have larger tanks - My fish is getting an upgrade soon due to minimal swimming space. Although they can be a bit dirty as people say, I have reason to believe that tank size is a contributor to cleanliness of the tank. Although these are harder for beginners, Black Moors are my favourite fish breed, and I'll be buying more in the future.

I have two comet goldfish that love the black moore goldfish. His eyes are sooooooooooo cute and the comet goldfish love him. He was a bit slow at first at eating because the other fish got the food first. But he quickly adjusted to his new home and learned to grab some food fast. He loves swimming and would definitely recommend this fish to a friend! Thank You Petsmart!!!

I am currently using two black moors to cycle my tank. Of course i am going to keep them and they will be part of the community when the tank is full. I love these little guys we named them Brooks and Dunn. Its so cute to watch them swim, they wiggle more than swim because of their chubby little bodies! very adorable! i do notice that even with just the two of them in the tank it seems hard for them to find their food. they will need a little extra attention at feeding time to make sure they get enough but its worth it :) these guys are chubby and silly, great fish :)

Very happy fish, glad I got two :) There swim together often, and play with the ship, I put in there tank. I wouldn't get just one, they wouldn't take it well. They are quite attached to one another.

I just bought my 2 black moors this afternoon and already, I love them! They are so fun so watch and interactive. The pump in their tank keeps picking their pellets up and down and one just keeps chasing it every time he sees it. They interact with each other too! It's too cute. They're tank is sitting on my home office desk so I've gotten to know them all afternoon. If you want fish with immediate personalities, I would recommend these fish.

This goldfish was the first goldfish I had ever gotten sad to say she died R.I.P a year ago I named him Bronze because at the time it looked bronze this is one of the best fish you could have buy one they're also adorable!

I just got Blacky today and is the friendliest fish in my community tank. He is also very friendly and playful with my other goldfish Bright the Red Capped Oranda goldfish. They absolutely love eachother. Thanks petsmart for this most wonderful fish. I really recomend this fish:)

Hi, i got a black morr fish for my sister jordan. I got it for her because i already had 4 tanks in my room and she only had 3. Now we have 2 one a girl and one is a boy. They are ready to have babies soon. i think they are a good fish if you are willing to keep up with the work and have a 40-55 gallon tank in your house. i love their buttyful tail and i tottly would recomend this product to anybody i know. If you are looking at tank prices they are about 2-3 hundred dollars. If you dont have the monny find one from a friend and if they dont have one ask your mom or dad to ask people at their job for one like i did. Hope my information helped. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FISH!

I've had my baby boy since last november.He was black & orange,so i named him October,Tobie for short.his nickname is Tob Tob.Now he's all black. I started with a 5gallon tank,in a few months it became a 10 gallon tank,he skiped from a 10 gallon tank to a 30 just a few weeks ago.If your going to get this fish,plan on upgrading your tank a few times,they grow to the size of their tank.

I got mine just yesterday and he is awesome!! We put him with an Oranda and they are really great together!!! I would recommend this for anybody!! We had a little trouble setting up the tank because we don't have well water so the was chemichals in it.

my cousin got me a black moor with an algee eating fish and they get along great.they are soooo cote. my bm is named pocko and my sucker fish is bob jilly bob.u should get a 20 gallon tank and feed the black moor pellets thatnsink to the bottom,dont get ANYTHING POINTY or the bm will kill itself.when the bm loves u and got used to u u can hand feed it.get this fish

I have a black moor named Ludo whom i love so much! My moor has so much personality and gets along great with my 2 Oranda's not to mention is also beautiful to look at in my aquarium.

(What You Should Know)
*Black Moor goldfish have poor eye sight so it is rather difficult for them to see food flakes at the top of the aquarium, because of this they look for food at the bottom of the aquarium. (I 100% recommend food pellets that sink to the bottom over goldfish flakes)
*Black Moor's are not fast swimmers and have difficulty competing for food against faster swimming fish.
*Due to the black Moor’s unique eyes and bad eye sight you should not have ANYTHING AT ALL with pointed edges in your aquarium. (Silk plants are highly recommended).
