Ornamental, beautiful and leafy, Rosette plants like the Amazon Sword have very short (almost unnoticeable) stem axes, with the leaf stalks uniting at the base of the plant. Rosette plants can be placed in aquariums alone or in groups and require moderate care to ensure healthy growth. Rosettes thrive in soft, mildly acidic water.

I can't believe it's not the most popular plant. And the bigger it gets, the nicer it is! And when you think about it, it has no defaults. It's not flimsy, it's not messy, it's not a slow grower, it's not ugly. Let me tell you this:

I got mine, and it had 7 leaves... one month later, it has 16! Get it now.

I have had this plant in my five gallon tank for two weeks now. With gravle and a led light. Only three leaves have died. But there are six new leaves growing. I would recomend this plant two any one with a gravled tank or a tank with guppies. Great for begginers and is very hardy.
