Seems durable and works okay, but my biggest problem is it doesn't seem to adjust right. When I adjust it to be tighter, it will loosen up again in a few minutes.

This harness works very well with 2 of my cats however my other cat is too large and this harness does not fit her at all. It could be a little larger to allow for a larger cat to fit into it. Apart from that I have no complaints about this harness and am purchasing another one for my new kitten.

My cat seems to like it alright and She wasn't able to break out of it like previous harnesses. I had some trouble figuring out how to put it on, but otherwise, great buy!

Tried it on my 15-pound mutt-cat, and the girth was short by about three inches. Fortunately I had a thin soft leather belt that I wasn't using. After wringing it vigorously for several minutes to soften the leather, cutting it to length, and punching new holes, I cut off the original girth and slipped the belt through the slots. Will do for now. The cat, who had never worn even a collar before, was surprisingly nonplussed. Or perhaps that was due more to the obnoxious amount of treats I doled out in the process.
Judging by the new girth pressing ON the elbows - not always resting behind them - the straps could use some extra length in this case.
Would recommend taking a few measurements on your cat before selecting a harness; however, I imagine it would work fine as-is for smaller-framed cats. May as well have made my own by now, but I don't regret the buy. The cat is thrilled to be allowed outside.

Mojo
Mojo has used this same harness since we first adopted him from Petsmart. We use it with the tie out when he goes out on the porch. We used to store our grill on the porch until he jumped off it one day to find himself hanging off the ground. He was not injured in any way, since the tie out is attached to the loop that goes around his body, and behind his front legs. The harness does need to be tightened on occasion. Even though we put the harness on them for bathing the metal attachments have not tarnished, even after a couple years of use. I would prefer that the harness loops were a little wider.

This harness is excellent quality, but it is far too small for anything except a 4 - 6 week old kitten. It looks easy to install but because it is so tiny it is almost impossible. The harness is either not sized correctly or there should be a warning that the "kitten" size is for baby kittens. Our Mithos is 3 months old and the harness is too small. I will exchange it for a adult, but a notice about size should be posted at the buy site. GrandmaHelen

I bought two of them and while the quality was alright, they didn't fit Vladimir, even after adjusting the straps to the loosest point. My boy is a Maine Coon and he's strong: he snapped the harness like a twig, lol! After searching far and wide for a bigger cat harness, I gave up and bought one for a dog instead. I also use a retractable dog leash for him too, because the cat leashes are too weak for big breed cats.
I wish someone would make cat leashes and harnesses for the larger breeds.

I bought one for each on my cats because we are moving in a few months and I need something to hold their tags and such. A harness seemed like a better idea than a collar because it would be less likely to come off. While the harnesses fit well and seemed to be quality I hate it! After two weeks I noticed my boy's fur was short where the harness was so I took it off. Both of my cats have BALD SPOTS right in between their shoulder blades!!! I am so angry!!

I too, take my cats for walks, we have a 6ft privacy fence and both cats were declawed ( I know, I do not approve of this either!) For their safety I had it done. They are still jumping~~
I use the harness and they love going for walks in the park.... I also take the kitty stroller and we can go anywhere!!! Well...maybe not everywhere!

I just bought this today. Cat walks funny and like to lay down a lot more. I guess it will take him quite a while to get used to it. I will leave it on him. I hope he does not meow too much. Good product so far. My cat is average size adult. He did hiss at me at first trying to put it on him.

I use this harness for both of my cats. They are two different sizes, Tonka is about 9.5 pounds and Rascal is about 7. It fits Rascal with no problem and she doesn't mind wearing it. It fits Tonka fine, taking it off is a bit more difficult but she doesn't mind wearing it. I like the harness, it's easy to put on and durable.

We recently adopted a new kitten (or I should say he adopted us). He was dropped off in our parking lot at 7 weeks old. Our vet advised us to not let him roam freely around the house till he was a bit bigger but at his age he is just a bundle of energy. I bought this harness and leash so we could at least let him down on the ground to play and explore without the dangers of him getting into something he shouldn't. He loves it! The harness doesn't hurt him at all and as soon as we get home from work he wants out of his kitty condo so he can explore,

Having recently added a new kitten to my household, I purchased one of these harnesses for him so that I could walk him with my 1 year old cat. I noticed the style was slightly different, but I didn't realize how much nicer it was until I was getting them ready to go outside. My older cat's harness is a figure-8 style and no matter how I adjust it, it always slides to the side. The Grreat Choice harness seems much more secure and I have realized that the advantage of the clasp on the body loop is that it is harder to bite you when you are clasping it. I will definitely be picking up another Grreat Choice harness to replace the figure 8 harness of my other cat.

I bought this harness in light blue (along with the matching collar and leash) when my cat was 5 months old. For a time, it was great! She's never particularly liked it and always walks a little funny when its on, but it fit her nicely. She is now older and bigger (about 17 pounds) and even with the width of the back "belt" extended all the way, it is too small for her.
It is a beautiful harness, nice quality, and it is a lovely set with the collar and leash, but it would be best suited for a small cat.

My cats are indoor/outdoor. They are constantly loosing there collars. These harness' are great. My male who never had a collar longer that 2 weeks had his harness almost 2 years!!! It takes a while for them to get use to it, they walk a little funny at first. One of my cat CAN NOT were this harness because she is to heavy...25 pounds. They are adjustable, the fit the many sizes of our other 4 cats. Just not her.

These are great unless you have either 1) a maine coon 2) a norwegian forest 3) a polydactyl (these guys grow big!) 4) or a particularly fat cat!
I have a maine coon and a polydactyl (see Missie in the attached photo, she's not fat, just a big girl!)--they exceed the 16 inch limit by about 3 inches...had to go with a Dog Harness (size Medium!?)
I WISH they would make an extra large cat harness, they're impossible to find--cat harnesses don't need to handle a huge lead, the dog harnesses are just too bulky for the kitties.
Pros: durable, looks great
Cons: not adjustable

My cat and I love to take walks, so I bought him one of these. We got the wrong size, so on the biggest setting it's still a bit tight, but that was my fault. I love the easy slip-on design, and it doesn't seem to bother him in any way. I am able to safely and humanely control my cat with this harness.

I wish these came in more colors. My kitten isn't excited to put it on/take it off because you have to slip it over her head and then buckle it around the belly. She hates having her head shoved in the narrow end. You have to make sure the neck is tight enough to keep the kitten from slipping out so I imagine that tight loop is uncomfortable as it shoves her ears down when its pulled on or off. It would make MUCH more sense if it buckled around the neck because you could slide the kitten in through the widest loop (belly loop) and then buckle the tighter neck loop wouldn't feel so constricting. She is however very secure in the harness and it doesn't seem to bother her too much or pinch anywhere.
Pros: safe
Cons: awkward design/clip

I love to take my kitty on cat walks, so i bought this. its a godo design, but no matter how many times i try to adjust it, it never sticks, it just gets big and huge again. my cat is still a kitten, (10 months) so he doesn't fill it out. Wouldn't suggest if you have a kitty who is easy to slip out of it.
