I was debating between the "kitten" sized one and the "cat sized" one and I eventually chose the cat sized one. I was glad because while putting it on my 5 1/2 month old kitten, I had to loosen it to its maximum size for it to fit. I'm not sure if I will still be able to use this when he's older. It seems that it could be longer (as in the distance between the two loops) as I doubt that it will be comfortable once he is fully grown. Another thing that bothers me about this is that for the head hole, there is no buckle which makes it difficult to put on, and especially take of. Overall, it still is a good product, seemingly good quality, does the job, and fits my kitten--for now. I wouldn't suggest this if you have a bigger cat, but if you have a smaller one, it should be perfect.
Pros: durable, looks great

I have an overweight cat who would benefit from some exterior walks which apartment living does not supply. However, even the largest girth this can be adjusted to does not accommodate his body, unless I really squeeze him in, and then he does not appreciate the harness and refuses to walk. I know that there are "larger"varieties of cat ( eg Maine Coon) that could benefit for a size differential larger than 16 inches girth. Any plans to bring one out or do you have any suggestions as to how I can make it more comfortable?
Pros: durable, looks great
Cons: not adjustable

I bought two of these harnesses, both in the pink with reflective hearts. I bought one for my cat and not only did it fit nice on her small 6 month old body, but it was so easy to adjust as she got older. Now I also say its great for Dogs because I have a small 5lb chihuahua who is soooo hard to find a nice fitting harness for because their tiny frames are made differently than other pups. The harness fits her better than any other I've found plus it was a lot cheaper than the dog harnesses.

This is my cat's first time wearing a cat harness, and not a dog's harness. He's 7 and has been overweight is whole life, but we managed to get him down to his lowest weight ever- 15lb and decided to buy him a reward harness. He loves the outdoors as he used to be an outdoor cat 4 years ago, but we keep him inside now a days. I've recently been walking him and he loves it! The harness was a little awkward at first, but he was walking normally after an hour of wear. My only complaint is that the harness isn't long enough. It's wide enough and adjustable, but I wish it was a tab longer.

Best cat item I have ever bought! Great quality, fit, and looks great! My cat loves going on walks and can safely expeince the outdoor world! He can't get out of it and it does not hurt him if he pulls the leash to hard.

I did! I walk her almost daily now using this harness! She used to meow at the door, wanting deperately to go out with me. I was wary at first but the harness is nice and strong and it can be adjusted so that it fits snugly even on a smaller cat (mine is only 7 lbs). Once she tried to back out of it but it held fast. Whew! Now kitty and mama are both happy!
We purchased this harness (and the matching leash) when we were trying to get our cat acclimated to her new surroundings outside. We liked that it was reflective and being that it was adjustable, it fit her well. It served its purpose nicely. My only criticism would be to change the material of the harness itself. I don't know about other cat owners, but nylon makes our cat itch. A very good product, especially for short term use.
