If you are looking for a saltwater look-a-like this is the way to go! They are very easy to take care of and so pretty! They often get a bad rap for being too aggressive and hard to care for but I don't find it to be like that for me. As a matter of fact he is one of the most calm fish in my aquarium.

I absolutely love angelfish and was so excited I ended up getting 4 of them. I have a 60 gallon tank so I thought they would be able to distance themselves from my tiger barbs and leporinus. Nope. Within a two week period all four of my angelfish were brutally picked at and then torn apart by my barbs and leporinus. I kept watching their fins disappear and I thought they would start to chase the barbs or fend them off like my betta does but that wasn't the case. I felt so bad! Don't be irresponsible like me and make the same mistake!

I think Angel fish are my favorite fresh water fish! I've been having mine for a few years now. I don't think I'll ever have an aquarium without them in it! They are big, beautiful, & smart. My 2 Angels will follow me up & down the tank, waiting on me to feed them. My black Angel fish will even eat algae wafers out of my hand. Love them!

Very nice fish, but beware of what fish you keep with it, i have had 3 angel fish that have died due to barbs nipping their fins and they then get stuck to the filter.

We've been wanting an a few angels for a while now, but unfortunitly, its been hard to get them anywhere due to a shortage. We found a lonely angel fish at a different pet store. even though we knew they do better in groups, we decided to get him because he looked so lonely .... and maybe sick. we got him home and isolated him just to make sure. last week we went to petsmart, and they had some BEAUTIFUL angels. we quickly got 2 to keep the first one company. the first one now is in the comminty and healthy. he loves the other angels and gets along well with all the other tankmate in our 60 gal semi aggressive tank. they are still juveniles, but there is no fin nipping (well--there is a little chasing), and im glad we did get more then one .... as recommended!

I love angel fish. I started out with 2 in my 20 gallon tank. I soon found out I had a male and a female. I moved them to a 10 gallon tank all by them self because every time the female laid eggs the male got really aggressive. Ever since I put them by them self, I have had so many babies. The first batch only 5 survived and now I have about 30 or more babies. I now have 3 fish tanks with angel fish in them. They are awesome fish and they get big! Every time we walk by the tank they all come to the glass.

This fish is a joy to have! My Angelfish is named Priscilla
and she is great although they eat a lot they are still fabulous. Angelfish can be aggressive but most are not, well mine isn't at least she is nice to the other fish in my tank too!! But, I definitely recommend this fish and give it 5 stars :)

I love my angelfish :) What makes him an awesome fish is that he is the longest living fish ive had about.. 2 years and he's already as big as the palm of my hand and hopfully he keeps living a long healthy life :D

I recently added two angels, 1 Gold Vein and Black/Silver Marbled, to my 45G tank. They seemed to be at home right away as they did not hide at all. They swim together for the most part but seem to have no issues swimming on their own either. They are fun to watch as they slowly swim through the tank.

They like plants and would recommend live ones be added. I have a couple of Anacharis plants, which they will snack on between feeding times.

Petsmart sells two different varieties of Angels, the common ones noted on this site (still pretty) and vein angels that are a little more fragile but have nicer looking fins.

Be sure to have a tank that does not consist of aggressive fish or fin nippers. Angels are slow swimmers and will be harassed by those types of fish.

I have only bought fish from here once but when i did the fish were of good quality and last a long time if taken care of properly. I also believe that their prices on fish are fair and I really enjoyed them. I would buy again.

I bought a baby angelfish and have had her for about a year now. I have watched her grow, and her personality. I love these fish becuase when I go to feed her in the morning she is always waiting for the food in the same spot. You will also see that they make an area where they stay most of the time and call it home. My angelfish is very social and does not hide. Great fish!

This fish has an extreame personality. I got 3 in a 20 gallon 6 months ago and they're thriving! They get along with just about everything! They only grow 3 inches long and 4-5 inches tall. They are by far the best and some of the most active fish I've ever had! I love them!!!

I've had this fish for a year and it has grown HUGE! About 8 inches. It loves my 44 gallon tank and other fishes. He even breaks up fights between my silver dollars and pink kissing gromani very graceful also. I'd also recommend this fish for beginners for beginners (1-3) or advanced (1-6). I even bought one for my BFF and he loved it!!! If you are an advanced fish owner and you don't have one...
GET ONE!!
Has beautiful colors and patterns and needs company to help mood otherwise great fish!!

I bought 3 angelfish that are a good size, I have a 20 gallon tank with a wide variety of fish. These guys are beautiful and very nice to my other fish, no problems. Make sure to take good care of your tank because these are dainty delicate fish! Love them and their colors!

I have 5 small, quarter sized angelfish in a 30 gallon with a large catfish (who's not aggressive) and they are doing wonderful! They are amazing fish with great personalities. Whenever mine see me walk past, they float up to the top and start nibbling at the air, that means they are hungry. When I feed them, the all go nuts!!! Great fish!

My angelfish is black and white, zebra print like. I have him in with my two red eared sliders. its not recommended for them to be with these turtles, but they get along GREAT! My turtles love him, and they don't seem to mind the fact that they have pretty fish in the tank!! I would recorded this fish to anyone! They are soo cute and a beautiful addition to my tank<3

this fish is amazing! they can be fragile and hard to kep alive when they are small, but once you get them going they are pretty hardy. They can be very aggressive though. My Angel fish will chase my other fish around quit a bit, but she is beautiful and will eat right out of my hand! When i come up to the tank, she will too. An amazing fish that i think everyone should experience.

My anglefish are great, I have 2 angels now still very small. (about 1 inch long each) Its been about 3 months since I bought them. Going to trasnfer them to my 36 gallon bowfront soon. They are in a 10 gallon now. Pretty fish, I would recommend.
