I love bearded dragons. She's my first reptile. I can't sext her yet, but I'm going along with she. Before getting a bearded dragon i suggest you research first. They're very docile and love to be handled. Since my beardie is still young, she can get skittish. Thats normal behavior, but you should pick her up daily so you can tame her. I give mine lettuce and crickets. We put on calcium dust so she can get nutrition. Try hand feeding her as well. I let her out on my bed to explore now and then, it's really cute. The picture i took of her is perfect *.* Also, you should give your beardie baths. They hydrate your beardie and help with shedding!

Anyway, I'm done ! they're amazing pets <3

I bought a bearded dragon around October of 2012 after my Ball Python passed on. I was a bit skeptical about getting one because I had heard they were a lot of work.
I can tell you right now that I was far from being right. They're really easy to care for. As long as you do the basics of coating their food with the calcium, provide their pellets/veggies, and mist them every other day, you'll have a very happy dragon.
Besides the work, they are very entertaining. They have such a personality especially my little guy, Draco. He's always showing off and making everyone laugh because he seems to "goof" off. They're great pets to have and are easy to handle especially if you raise one from a baby. They grow very fond of you and love every bit of attention you give them.
If you want a great first time reptile, I recommend getting a bearded dragon over everything else because of they great companionship you can obtain from these guys (:
btw, my beadie was shedding in the picture. Nothing is wrong with him.

I have a bearded dragon named Pancake and got it from a friend a couple weeks ago since they're moving, and i knew Pancake ever since they got him/her. Pancake loves crickets and loves to be petted like a dog on his head! It's really funny because it will close it's eyes and move with the strokes of my finger. It is still a juvenile, about 6 months, and it is mostly active and not sitting around all day! I really recommend a bearded dragon for people who are getting a pet for the first time since they are really easy to care for! So, yeah.. bearded dragons are really awesome.

I got my first bearded dragon for Christmas! Although at first, I wasn't exactly wishing for a beardie. So I went to Petsmart and looked at the different lizards. Soon I decided this was the perfect reptile for me.
My beardie's name is Billy. I got him at a couple weeks old. Now he's about 5 or 6 months.
And he is the most tame and docile reptile I've ever had. Every day I get him out, and we snuggle on my bed watching TV. He sure is a cuddler!
These animals are so easy to care for. Right now Billy lives in a 55 gallon tank. This is probally where he is going to stay for his whole life, which is in my opinion a really long lifespan.
These lizards are also very beautiful! I recommend this species for any new reptile owner. Especially for a family willing to love and care for them.

I got my 2 bearded dragons yesterday, and they are great. They love to bask by the heat lamp, but they are very calm and love to sit in my hand.
They LOVE the freeze-dried mealworms!
You need to be ccautious, though- they are fragile and need careful hands.. handling them :D

I got one about a year ago her name is Tigger. She is growing well and I love watching her go after her food. She is a really great pet and when got her she was in great health. I love her. I would recommend this pet to anyone. :)

bearded dragons are very docile kind pets my beardie Eragon is very kind and sweet he loves it when I hold him, although, they do require a lot of care for example a big tank dry and needs to be around 90 degrees but other than that I almost love them more than dogs. !!!!!GREAT PET!!!!!! 10 out of 10 rating

It's only been an hour or two after I got my beardie, Darwin from petsmart and he fell asleep in my hand like 10 times! The lady there was so nice! ( Amanda, reptile lady.) She was so helpful and inforamative! Darwin hasen't been bad scince he got home! Thank you petsmart!!!

Whenever i try to hold my beardie, he bites my finger or runs away. I want him to get used to me holding him because he is so cool and I love him/her. I cant tell wether he is a he/she. I feed it 3 mealworms every day and sometimes lettuce and peas. What do i do to get him used to it?

My beardie, August, is a great pet. I.got him as an early Christmas gift and at first i didn't hold him. But now I hold him every day he is a great pet. I recommend everyone to get one! I had another one and he lived for 13 years!!

I got my bearded dragon about a year ago, he has been AMAZING! He is VERY easy to care for and doesnt require lots of money. Anyone ages 10+ can EASILY care for a bearded dragon. Great pet to get into the reptile hobby. This is a very active lizard, and should also get about a half an hour of attention a day, they are a People-Friendly lizard and are Very Social.

I got my bearded dragon for a early christmas present. i was very excited at first i was scared to pick him up, but i did. mine is very calm and loves to be held. in the beggining he didnt eat very well, so me and my mom went to the pet shop and asked them what to do. they said to feed him meal worms, crickets, and vegtebles so we did. now he loves to eat,and bathe in the sun/light bulb heat. he is a great pet he is still a baby but he is growing quick. i named him Spiker.I definintly reccomend this pet.
