We got our rosy boa because we have 2 small children who love snakes but we didnt want to get one that would get too big. When i saw her i fell in love. She is so sweet and loves to play with us. She is so gentle with both my little boys. I would recommend this snake for anyone interested in snakes but not wanting to get one that gets too big.

As my first snake Angus (my rosy boa) has been one of the most low maintenance rewarding pets. With a few funny stories. I've had him for almost a decade and he still makes me smile. Kids love him, and he being so docile helps them to learn how to handle their fears and cures their curiosity. He is still only 26" long and really easy to care for. Only note their small size when considering a container.
