I recently got my 5th snake and it was a apricot pueblan milk snake. they are very shy but are so friendly never bite....they are just frighetned alot but thats about it...great snake for kids as well! just make sure with kids they watch them closely cause the snake is good at getting away!

I loved it, except it escaped the night i got it. I would reccomend getting a Very tight fitting lid, and researching the animal Before you get it.

Pros: beautiful snake

Cons: escape artist

Milk snakes are a great start into snake keeping but they are great for the experienced hobbiest too. They offer intense colors and variety. These snakes are very docile & rarely bite.
They are shy and are not crazy about being handled.

Pros: great color & peaceful animals., they are easy to feed. eats frozen rodents.

Cons: frightened of being handled.
