Nicest hamster ever!

I have had a couple of hamsters, and this one is by far the best. I recently had a Robo hamster. Those things are just plain vicious. This hamster is SO sweet, cute, soft, easy to care for, and is super lazy, HAHA. She just curls up in a ball when she's sleeping. Waking her up is a little hard, but it only takes a minute or two. I just really softly pet her back with my pointer finger and she gets up and starts sniffing my hand. She loves to be held and she has never bitten me. She is so nice, I even named her Sugar. I would HIGHLY reccomend this hamster for anybody. It is so easy-going and laid back.

Pros: cute, soft, doesnt bite, loves to be held, likes to crawl in her tubes, doesnt chew everything up, doesnt hiss, eats out of your hand, isn't loud at night, laid back and relaxed

My Hamster, Buddy, Bites But Recently I Kinda Tamed Him Not To Bite. He Has A Big Red Bump On Him And I Think Its A Tomer 8( But Hopefully I can Get Another Hamster After I Plan To Get 3-4 More After 8)

Our Winter White is very sweet. It seemed like by the 1 or 2 day, she was crawling on our hands. She does not seem to bite unless you disturb her when she does not want to be. Very social and playful. I would definitely recommend this hamster.

I got my Winter White Hamster, Tid-bit, yesterday and I LOVE HIM.He is the cutest thing EVER!He loves running in his wheel and I could hold him the second day I got him with no problem at all.He nibbled on me a bit but it doesn't hurt AT ALL.They are ADORABLE.I recommend these hammies to EVERYONE!

I just got my hamster, snickers, she is sooooo cute and lovable. Everybody with the 1-3 stars are crazy because i have had 7 in the past and they all dont bite, love to be held and petted, very active, dont make a big mess, and pretty much trained already. If you are thinking about getting a hamster, get a winter white!

A few months ago (February I believe) I got a Winter White Hamster and I named her Hedwig. She is so sweet, smart and playful too! If you get one trust me you will absolutely LOVE them. Once they get used to you and your home they will be another part of the family.

OMG!! winter whites are the best hamsters ever!! they are awesome because A) they never bite (well mine never did) B) the are so loving and really bond with the owner . My hamster was the cutest thing ever and only bit me once and was sooooo sweet. she got along with my other pets (aka my dog...i only let them near each other while she was in her running ball) and she loved being around me. over all.... winter white hamsters are the best pets ever!!

I just got my winter white hamster and is he FAST. If I try and hold him he'll jump out of my hands. It's impossible to keep him still..

Regardless, he's very sweet and he hasn't bit. The only weird thing he does is that he'll do this screechy scream sort of thing when he is frightened.

Nice... but kind of a quirky hamster

these hamsters are very nice if you want a hamster or intersted in buying one i would prefer winter white they very active at night they are small i get him out 2or 3+ times a day i love him his name is hammy i hope i helped goodluck :)))))

I got a male Winter White. He loves to crawl onto my hand when I reach into his cage to feed him or give him new water! He's so very sweet and gentle, never bites me or even nibble at me. (Except once, I had a bit of peanut butter on my hand and he nibbled it) if you're thinking of getting a cuddly WW of your own keep in mind it will need attention and dedication, care, love, and it may take awhile for it to warm up to you. I suggest giving it some treats to show it you are friendly (and provide treats which of course it'll love (; ) also make sure to give it time to adjust to his or her name habitat. Maybe that will be a day maybe it'll be a week. Just when he/she seems ready you can start the taming process. These hammies are so nice and I am so happy I got mine! xox I love my little baby

I bought two sister sapphire winter white hamsters, I've had them for 4 days, and they both easily walk on my hand and let me hold them. One at first nibbled a little on my finger... she probably just thought i was food but she soon realized i wasn't and doesn't do it anymore. I highly recommend them, but you definitely need to give your hamster the attention it needs to get used to you. I recommend hand feeding your hamster a few sunflower seeds so that they realize your hand isn't a bad thing but a bringer of good things, which will make them more comfortable when you go to pet or pick them up. Not to mention they are the most adorable little things to have for a pet!

I've grown up having many pets, now as a young adult I wanted something easy to care for that I could hold while at home after work. I'm extremely fond of small rodents, (I've had everything from mice to rabbits) everything about this little girl is simply splendid - clearly well handled during his life at petsmart! One warning that some people won't realize immediately, is that no animal, no matter how docile, will become hostile if it is very uncomfortable. If a pet has been through a long journey, (long car ride home from the pet store, etc.) has been kept from food, water, or sleep for any long period of time (remember they are nocturnal) and you try to wake them up while sleeping in their cage, they may hiss and appear aggressive. Leave them be, let them sleep and play only while awake. No pet is recommended for any user who has absolutely no common sense about handling an animal.

Mo Mo, my hamster, is the best. She is sweet and very active! Mo Mo is a little afraid to be held but she is getting used to it! She loves to snuggle and is the perfect 1st time hamster owner. She is fast but not super fast!

my winter white hamster,pepper,is soooo tame not skiddish at all i could hold her on the first day she is amazing this breed is begginer (sorry for misspelled words)and rarely bite i recommend it to 5+ years old easy pet
