this frog is sooo amazing! i got this frog two days ago and im already falling in love with it. Dumpy is sooo cute, fascinating, and and is very friendly because when i go to grab him, hes not that scared of me. also, these frogs are easy to take care of. he eats a lot, but you dont have to feed them all of the time. i would recomend this frog to everyone!!!!!

They are easy to take care of and have a lot of personality!! Yes they crock at night it is a "frog" mine does it at 8pm on the dot for about 5min and thats is he does crock when I vacume and make other similar noises. I think my frog recognizes me when my husband feeds him he stays where he is but when I come to the tank he hops to the door and jumps out on me or if anyone else hold him if im near by he will jump back to me!!! The best pet ever!!!!

This frog is boring fat and lazy. I think somebody else might like it but it is boring and croaks VERY LOUD at night.

This little guy is very enjoyable to watch and they are active at times and can handle little by little by moisture your hands and can sit him on a table and feed him if you want your first frog i'd pick this Tree Frog : )

Never thought a frog could be SO CUTE! This little critter is entertaining. Needs a bit of attention at only 3 months.. but is now an asset as the Family Frog. Highly recommended for children with allergies to animals.. no allergies with the blue dumpy tree frog. Loves being in a humid enviroment with live tropical plants. Can change colors, and knows exactly where the top of the lid is and waits patiently near tippy top to try and jump out :) Waiting for this little guy/gal to get much bigger before letting children handle. Seems a bit delicate. Very soothing to just sit and watch.

Though I would agree that these cute little critters are fantastic pets but only for owners that can realize that these, and all frogs, are not good for younger enthusiasts. Eventually kids want to hold and play with their pet(s), and I have no problem with that, I was a kid once too. The Blue Dumpy or Whites Tree Frogs should not be handled constantly because of the toxicity all humans carry on themselves and will pass through the Frogs skin. And like all kids ... if they can not hold and caress them they will ignore them when the novelty wears off.
For those enthusiasts who can refrain from handling them constantly I would highly recommend them. They can live up to 15+ years and can be very entertaining.
The only thing is if you happen to get a male he can get very loud (croaking) after maturity.

Pros: easy maintenance long life with proper care.

Cons: males get vey loud after maturity., almost impossible to tell a m/f until maturity.

these are the cutest little frogs and very easy to care for. I got 2 for my 10 yr. old daughter and she can take care of them by herself with a little help cleaning the terrarium. would highly recommend these adorable little frogs for anyone who loves frogs. a little expensive to get set up for them, but well worth the money.

Pros: easy to care for, fun to watch
