I was looking at bearded dragons at petsmart and then I saw a guinea pig. Petsmart let me hold him and he was purring so I bought him. I named him Cato and he is EPIC!!!! Petsmart was very helpful and I would recommend these guys/gals for everyone. P.S. Remember to get them a buddy

I got my guinea pig about 2 months ago and I LOVE her, she is gorgeous!! I named her ponyo. I plan on getting another one soon. Guinea pigs are great for the whole family. I recommend guinea pigs for everyone:)

I have had my guinea pid for 1 year and 5 months. She is an absolute joy. Cocoa was very shy at first and didn't let me touch or hold her until a few months ago. Now, she licks my hands and feet. I don't have a mate for her, like recommened, but she seems happy. I always make sure she's happy. :) I would definetaly recommend getting a guinea pig.!! Hope I helped

I bought Caspian and Haymitch from Petsmart. Best decision ever!!! They are sweet and loveable. They rarely bite(only when I first got them). Now they show affection by wheaking every time I come in the room!!

I have had 2 before, and they were great, but the second one was biting itself and i don't know why, it had vitamins, i played with it, i fed it, and i bathed it... it had light and it had two hiding spots and i don't know what happened... But, Guinea Pigs are great and i would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a small pet!

I bought all of my guinea pigs from this store. One of them that I got ended up being sick 2 weeks into having him. I took him back and they took him to the vet for me. After he still didn't get better, they let me pick out a new one for free. I also got a gift card. My guinea pigs have been very nice and friendly animals. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new small pet.

They are an awsom pet and so adoribel, one thing though is that you mite want to buy a rabit cage becous it cinda gets cramped with a guinea pig cage.
But over all I LOVE them. :)

I love my pig he is the best thing in earth. He was shy at first but more he is a beautiful tri colored * white Brown gold* his name is Apollo. Thank you petsmart. My piggie is true bliss!!!! My two pigs are really great pets and are very cute and cuddly. I got mine from petsmart and decided to get one first and then a month later i got another. The petsmart people let my take in Squirt(my first) to chosse his buddy instead of me choosing it for him. He chose a cute little pig that i named Mocha and he settled in wih Squirt really well and now they are he best of buddies. I built a c&c cage for them and they love to hop around and popcorn in it. Dont buy a petsmart cage thouht because they are wayyy to small. So i recommend to build your own. They are a bit shy at first but then they get used to you and mine climb up onto my lap when they have out of cage time. Dont get hamsters get piggies!!!

Cosmo is my first Guinea Pig and I love him, PetSmart was great and I am having an amazing time with Cosmo. I researched a lot before and so I was verrrry prepared and PetSmart helped me with any questions I had. My parents never had had a Guine Pig before eithir and my mom doesn't really like pets but because of all my hard work they agreed to get me a Guinea Pig. But I still had to pay $60 for some things. Overall PetSmart had Great service and I love my guinea pig Cosmo!!!!

Thank you Petsmart for the guinea pig , his name is Bruno. He is very shy , but he's getting use to us. He loves his pellets and hay, but the vegetables , not so much. I got a guinea pig about a year ago and I love him! At first he didn't like to be held but once he settled in he was great! I named my Guinea Pig Sir Oliver and now he is sweet and loving. If you want a guinea pig that will cuddle with you for a long time... BE CAREFUL some guinea pigs don't like to be held for long periods of time! I use the petsmart brand pine shavings for bedding and its great. Some people say that guinea pigs love to be around other piggies but mine is fine on his own so long as I play with him at least once a day. I clean his cage every other day and I don't usually spot clean his cage because its easier to just get rid of all the bedding. I highly suggest getting a guinea pig just make sure they always have
Hay, Food, Water, A wooden chew (To keep the teeth short) and a place to shelter. I hope you get one of these AMAZING animals!!

I have owned guinea pigs for most of my life and they are so very rewarding! For the past 2 years, I have owned a very special Texel Guinea Pig named Wyatt. He lost his brother Doc about a year and a half ago (the pet store we purchased them from neglected them; they had matts right down to the skin that bled when we had to shave them!!!). Two days ago, I went to our local PetSmart to look at guinea pigs; I have been considering getting Wyatt a companion for a while now. I saw a small black and white male American Guinea Pig and fell in love right away! The employee who helped us took the time to answer our questions to the best of his knowledge and treated the young piggie with the utmost respect. My dad bought the little guy for me as an Easter present and the employee made sure the baby had a comfortable box; he filled it with bedding and even added a few carrots! I named the little guy "Goose" (because he is Wyatt's wingman Lol!) and he has settled right in. I highly recommend PetSmart! I know Wyatt and Goose will have many happy years together, all thanks to the considerate employees who go above-and-beyond to ensure each animal has the best life possible!
