This product is great. I used newspaper and the shredded paper before and the cage always looked dirty as you could see the drippings, etc. and could always smell it With this, you don't see any drippings, etc., and it eliminates all odors, YOU DON'T SIFT IT AS IT'S NOT CAT LITTER, I just dump it out, clean and sanitize the cage and replace with new bedding/litter when needed. The bottom of cage ALWAYS looks bright and clean. I wouldn't use anything other than this as this is the cleanist and brightest bedding ever. It is NOT messy at all. AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!

I use this in my chinchilla's litter boxes and it is super absorbent and controls all the odor. before litter box training, I used different things as bedding and it would smell within a day. then I trained them and also used it as bedding when I added another chin to the cage and it completely controlled the odor. A little hard to clean off the bottom of the cage, but once litter box trained, I no longer needed it as "bedding"

I got this for my teddy bear hamster. It never get in his fur, it eliminates all of the smell from their waste. Its super absorbant! I recommend this product!

Not as good as I had hoped

I bought this due to the great rating I saw on here, I am now regretting doing that. We normally use paper to line the cage so I thought this would work as well as if not better, it does not. The corn isn't very absorbant so you really have to scrub the cage, after two days the entire cage starts to smell, there is no masking the odor. I completely clean the cage once a week by taking everything out and cleaning the bottom. With the corn I have to do it every three days or the urine crystallizes on the bottom, thus cutting any of the money saving factors out of the equation. Not impressed

Pros: low dust

Cons: messy, Hard to Sift, Doesn't Eliminate Odor
