Just installed one of these 100w bulbs in my snakes tank... And, in LESS than 18 hours, it burned out. Seemed to be working good initially... Getting temps to a good level... But, WAY too short of a life span.

Pros: easy to install, price

Cons: didn't work

I have had this product for ALMOST 2 weeks, and at first it was great! It kept the temps up and I was able to see inside the tank without harming the geckos with unnecessary light. So, I left it on and thought everything was just dandy until I woke up the next day and found out that the bulb had blown... This is ridiculous.

Cons: price, didn't work

I have had my ALT infared 100W bulb for a year now and it works great. Unfortunately my thermostat just went and blew the bulb. It would have lasted longer. It sits on a 55 gal on one end and keeps over half of the tank right on temp. My snake loves it!

I use this for my tortoise, cause were h is a reptile, there cold blooded and can't make there own body heat. they require a 50 - 75 watts doesn't matter which. i use this from 8:00 pm,to 10:00 am, and the day time from 10:00 to 8:00.
I reccomend this alot!

I love this bulb so much my bearded dragon stays warm at night now i dont have to worry! My first heat bulb blew within 20mins ..bummer anyway I L.O.V.E this bulb!!!!!

I bought two All Living Things non-infrared heat bulbs, one for my female rose-haired tarantula and the other for my female bearded dragon. They didn't last me even a month! The only thing I liked about them, is the lighting they put off didn't look artificial. Trust me, just stick to ZooMed.

I went through two infareds and one UVA of the 'all living things' brand. It's no good. They all burnt out after a month or so, and I have brand new lamps that can hold the wattage.

Just stick to ZooMed. That's the best brand. And PetSmart carries them anyway. ZooMed products ARE worth the price.

I've been using the 75w bulb (in addition to an under tank heater) to heat my leopard gecko's tank to the right temp in the winter months. I've had the bulb on 24/7 for a little over a month now and it works fantastically. however, if you have a long tank (mines tall) I'd advise a lower wattage as the bulb gets very hot (or a thermostat).

Pros: works great, provides a lot of heat, good price

I just bought this for some ducklings that just hatched. It works amazingly well. It's very warm, and can stay on 24/7. The 75/100 watt ones are perfect, no need to buy those higher strength ones!
