I have 5 cocker spaniels and all of them are doing great on this food. Two of my "kid's", Kirby has food allergies that causes severe skin problems, and the other Moose has low thyroid and is over weight. Since switching after comparing brands and ingredients, we choose Authority Chicken and Rice. Kirby's skin has cleared up, and for Moose he's finally losing a little weight and all of our dogs coats are starting to look shiny again.

Great Product, Worth every penny

I've been buying this Dog Food, since I got my dog 3 years ago. I love it, beacuse the first 5 ingredients are real meat and food, not fillers or grains like most dog food IE Iams, purina, etc. If you really value your pet and its health, get this dog food!!

I acquired a lovely Collie from a rescue. Her foster family had her on "Natural Instinct Prairie/Chicken." Great food but soooo expensive. I asked a PetSmart Associate to recommend a good quality food that would be more gentle on my pocketbook, yet be nutritionally sound for my dog. He explained all about the goodness of the "Authority" brand, so I tried a small bag of both the lamb and the chicken. I got the Adult Mini-Chunks, the same as the "Natural Instinct Prairie/Chicken." She loves the chicken, and cleans her bowl. The lamb, she's so-so -- and it seems to give her looser bowel movements. Her eyes are bright, her coat is shiny, her health is wonderful, and she will be an "Authority" dog from now on! Thank you, PetSmart!!!

My dogs ate this as soon as we got we got it on new year my dogs still haven't finished it but every night they finish a bowl of it!So it's amazing!

Approximately a year ago I got a rat terrier/chihuahua cross from a pet store, they had him on royal canin and pushed me to buy it, he didn't like it much and the food didn't seem very pet friendly, so I switched him to Iams small breed puppy food, he did better on this but when he was 6 months I switched him to Authority Real Chicken Mini Chunk. To keep him from getting sick I mixed the rest of his Iams and his new Authority together and the darn pup ate only the Authority pieces. He has a beautiful shiny coat, great energy and he only goes #2 once a day. Also, I came to this conclusion on my own, no associates helped me. I love that the first two ingredients are chicken.

Authority Chicken

My 14 month old Shih-tzu loves the chicken flavour over the lamb. I adopted him July of 2010, and he was eating Beneful. I kept him on the Beneful, because it was cheap and he seemed to like it. During our PetSmart puppy training class, the instructor taught us about the foods we give to our pups. Beneful was not a good choice as it is filled with bi-products. She sugested the Authority Brand, as the first ingrediant is....real Chicken or real Lamb! I was so impressed I started my guy on the Chicken. He loved it. The Lamb, not so much, but he ate it. I'm back to a bag of Chicken, and he devours it. I am very impressed with this dog food! And the price is very reasonable...which is a bonus in this economy,

My little guy was having such a hard time - we had tried several diffrent types food but he was having an allergic reaction & was licking his fur off. We switched him to authority & his fur is growing back!!!! He is doing so much better :)

I have a 2 year old Maltese/Poodle mix (aka Maltipoo) and before this, he would refuse to eat any food we gave him. We tried pedigree, beneful, and a few wet foods but he just wasn't having it. Plus, beneful had a habit of making my dog go potty, a LOT. I asked a petsmart employee about what food to give my picky dog and she referred me to Authority. I gotta say, she was right! My dog absolutely LOVES this stuff! Now instead of having a yard full of doggy potties, my dog goes about 3 times a day. No diarrhea, no throwing up, no signs of it bothering my dog at all.

Bottom line, if you have a picky dog, try this stuff! It's awesome!

Pros: reduces amount of times dog goes potty, picky dog love it, mini chunk perfect for small dogs

Cons: none!

Finally!

I have tried several dog food brands for my very picky Bichon Frise.
She absolutely loves this food! It is the only dry food she will eat without "altering".
Small bites easy for her to chew, you can smell the real chicken when you open the bag.

Her bathroom habits have also improved only going 1 or 2 times a day and they are easy to clean up:)

I am very pleased with this food! Great product, great price.
