Bella, my malti-poo, has mildly bad hips. She often has problems adjusting and finding a comfortable spot to rest. Sometimes it is the floor, or other carpeted area, other times it is her regular bed. But more often than not, it is her new ortho bed. The crated mattress lies below a sherpa cover. The mattress provides her with comfort, and the sherpa cover and fabric sides and bottom offer a handsome look for our living room.

Pros: comfortable, durable, stylish, easy to wash

soft cover, good looking bed

The bed is comfortable for my dog, though not as wide as most Large-size dog beds. The cover is downy soft, washes well, and its a nice looking bed. The mattress consists of a rectangular piece of ordinary foam, almost 3" thick. It is topped with eggcrate memory foam, about an inch tall. (The two pieces of foam are actually glued together). The memory foam topper is delicate, and will tear even with spot cleaning by hand; so, definitely buy a waterproof dog bed cover to protect the mattress before slipping back into the washable cover. Would only recommend to a friend if it was half the price or less.

Pros: soft good looking cover, comfortable for dog

Cons: overpriced for only 1" of memory foam, mattress to delicate to wash;need waterproof cover, narrow for a large size dog bed
