This product is awesome: durable, stylish, and useful. However, when I went to the store I could fit more characters on the lines. My Husband and I both have long names and we have a long address so it was worth it to go to the store to get the ID tag the same day for the same price, but more available options.

We purchased the little pink bone for our Lab puppy. She is very active and energetic and after having it for almost 5 months, it is still well readable. It also comes with a little plastic sticker that protects either the front or the back.

I love these tags, they are so cute. I have them on all 3 of my dogs, and the heart one on my cat. However, they are sooooo noisy! I have tried rimming them with hot glue to silence them. It helped, but peeled off in a couple days. There are some days they make me crazy...but then that is not real difficult.

A year or two ago, I purchased the blue version of this tag for a family member's labrador retriever. The dog loves to swim in the brackish water river and roll in who knows what.
Today, I purchased the pink version of this tag for my chihuahua/terrier mix. She is a laid-back little dog, but loves to escape her boundaries.
In both scenarios, this tag has been absolutely WONDERFUL! Perfect for a big 65 lb. labrador, or a 10 lb. terrier, or pretty much any size! Beautiful craftsmanship and design. The 3M film is extremely useful, and durable too! Definately reccommend TagWorks tags!!!

So my dog hasn't worn this tag yet so this review is based on the feel of this tag. It feels durable, and looks great! A lot better then our tags before. I believe PetSmart also got a new tag machine because the lettering comes out a lot nicer!

this tag is very durable, it survived much rough playing and jumping around. it is fashionable, goes perfect with my dog's collar. it is easy to read, there are different fonts to choose from. i was worried that this tag was too "fancy" for rough playing and would break but it didn't!! i am very happy with this product. (just make sure you have a ring to attach it to the collar because the "S" hook is pretty much useless)

I love the look of the product. however i had a problem with the tag popping out of the metal frame. I also noticed some color rubbing off on my dog's white fur.

We purchased the super cute, pink tag for our 5 month old German Shepherd Dog. Ans so far it has done great, its super durable and one of the cutest tags ive seen. The lettering is easily seen and the little border ties the look together. She looks elegant but super cute! :D

A Great Tag, But Needs A Ring Instead of an S Hook

I purchased this tag in blue for my German Shepherd mix. It looked great and the engraving was beautiful. Each letter was very easy to read against the solid blue metal of the tag. I loved the little 'frame' too! The tag feels durable and solid.
I am using the past tense because this tag is no longer with us. My dog, who I should mention can be quite destructive in the right (or should I say wrong) circumstances, managed to get a hold of the tag. This was partly because I stupidly used a key chain ring in place of small tag ring since Tag Works only includes S hooks with their bone tags. The S hook is not convenient and was not wide enough to fit on my dog's super sized collar (which included a gianormous D ring).
Overall I would not hesitate to purchase this tag again (and probably will) however anyone else who does so should make sure they have a ring ready to use when they put the tag on the collar. The S hook may not work well (and will require pliers to close it off once it is on, again not convenient compared to the ring). The larger key chain ring allowed the tag to dangle low enough so that my dog could get it in his jaws. By the following morning the tag was readable and was all bent and chewed up.
This problem was by no means the fault of Tag Works. The product was great and high quality in my opinion. However I think a ring should be included with ALL of their tags, even the bone shaped ones!

I finally broke down and decided we would get a puppy. My son used his hard earned cash to purchase this dog tag. Unfortunately, even with the protective covering our puppy destroyed any engraving we had put on it. Soon our puppy's name went from 'Bentley' to 'ntle'. Our address and phone number were no longer readable. We tried to tell him to 'leave it', which he would, when we would catch him trying to 'swing' it into his mouth. However, we weren't always there to catch him. He even got the tag out of the outside decorative edge. Now all we have left is the decorative edge. No tags at all now. On the flip side, a previous reviewer commented on the noise it made. I actually liked the jingle, jangle because as a puppy I would know where he was at all times. If he was laying down, sitting down or getting into trouble I knew where he was. Now with all this being said, I might give it another try when he gets a little older, but I still feel bad that my son wanted to make this purchase only to have ruined in less than 3 months.

we got these tags for our two dogs, because they seem sturdy, and not to mention the fact that you can get them done in store in about ten minutes, give or take, was a really great plus.

I bought this dog tag and after messing with the S-hook which was extremely difficult, I put the tag on his collar and it made SO much noise! It would make all kinds of noise every time my dog took a step. It was cute and nice but very annoying. This was my first time every buying a dog tag and I was really disappointed.

We got this tag for our Golden Cocker last year, and it is the best one he has ever had in his 12 years. It is the only one that has never worn and fallen off, as he is still a very active dog and gets alot of exercise. We live in Ireland and have had so many people commenting on the tag and asking where can they get it. Unfortunately, we dont have Petsmart in Ireland, so he is the only dog I have seen with it. He actually lost his collar and tag last week and a family member in Philadelphia went to her local store and got my dog a new tag, that is how great it is! We cant wait for it to arrive along with his new collar.

My pup has worn this daily for a few months, and it hasn't begun to show the slightest wear. It looks quite cute too. Love it. :)
