I've bought several thinning/blending shears over the years, many name brands I'm sure I cannot mention here adding up to hundreds of dollars. I must say, these shears have worked better than some $150 shears bought from a fancy catalog, they have thinned and blended more accurately as well as staying sharp for much longer than I had hoped. Overall these have been a gem to me for nearly 2 years now, never needing to be sharpened only oiled and tightened every once and a while. They practically pay for themselves after the first use or two. With a price so low it isn't really a risk to give it a try. They cut perfectly, and anyone saying that they cut below par of the average kitchen scissor is obviously not speaking of a thinning shear... unless you're trying to blend and style on dinner... really.
Pros: gentle

these are no better then using your own kitchen scissors, they cut hair poorly.
