I am very glad that this food exists. It has everything you need, including iron. I had dying plants, so I used this. It worked.

After removing the carbon from my filters and adding the Plant food it only took 3 hrs to notice a lil bit of growth. Bottle didnt specify but this product is loach/shrimp safe.

My plants were doing ok before using this product, since first starting it about 3 weeks ago, I've noticed new plant growth. My plants also got greener after starting to yellow. It doesn't leave any residue and I haven't had a problem with algae. Just use as recommended and you will see results!

I bought this item about two days ago when I bought a couple of live plants for my tank. When I put it in all seemed well till the next day when I looked at my tank and the water so cloudy. Before I put it in I did a full water change so I knew it had nothing to do with my water. I called my local petsmart and they said it was probably bacteria. I use Top fin Bacteria suppliment and Top Fin Declorinator. I have had my tank for three weeks and this was the first time I ever had this kind of problem. So I had to do another water change and even then there was still a gross film left behind on the glass

It's rare that I can buy anything that works as advertised. This product even works better. I can almost watch my plants grow and literally can notice daily growth in some species. Follow the directions and don't over use it because when I did I noticed I was "burning" some of the plants and immediately cut back to the recommended amount.
This product is quite economical when you consider it keeps your plants healthy reducing the need for replacement. Healthy plants mean healthy fish also reducing the need for replacement.
A good plant/animal cycle in your tank also reduces the chance of other complications that can require expensive water treatment options.

I bought this the same time I started my planted tank, its been a few months now and all my plants are thriving real well. I'm getting tons of offshoots from the 2 Java ferns I bought and everything else is growing like crazy.

Well I guess it gives the plant it's needed nutrients. However, I've been using this for a little while on a fern in my aquarium, and it hasn't grown at all. It hasn't died either, and all the leaves still look good, so I guess the plant is getting what it needs. It just isn't getting any bigger than it was when I bought it.

This is an OK product. I guess it has been helping my plants grow. It does not cloud my water or anything but doesn't help my plants flourish either. I guess it is OK, but after I finish this bottle I plan on buying a different brand.
Pros: does not cloud water
Cons: doesn't seem to have an effect

I tried this to help get my live plant cuttings that I purchased to grow some roots. Most of the plants I like are sold in those bundles and can be hard to establish. The only thing that happened in my tank was a huge algae bloom, in just two days! I'm not going to return it, but only because I am planning on getting a few snails soon anyway. If my tank gets too clean for them at least I will have a way to grow them some more food quickly!

I bought this when I started up a planted tank for some neon tetras. It helped my plants double their size in a matter of a few weeks and it is a great supplement to any live-plant tank.
Pros: easy to use, cost, great value, works well

I bought this product for my live plants in my betta tank and I really regret it! It did not help the plants at all and it put an oily film on the top of the water. Even after I did a water change, the water was still gross. I stopped using this product last week and the water is crystal clear again. Don't waste your money with this plant food!
