Works, dog hates it

I get catious of cutting my dogs nails too short, so I file them shorter in the end. My dog hates the file, and tries to bite it. But it does its job. Giving him a toy or something to snack on, helps a lot. He manages through it, but can live without it. It does not hurt him, just annoys him.

Wouldn't even begin to file my dog's nails. Don't waste your $$$ if you have a large breed dog.
