this brush is amazing it got one of the sides of my dog which sheds a lot (It is so many dogs we don't know one of them but we think she has spitz)and filled up quickly however for at least the first few times you should brush her outside because the brush brings hair to the top and gets full so It can't pick up more hair and the dog shakes well worth the money

This is a great tool for the long curly coat of my LABRADOODLE. The brush must be used correctly and not like the regular slicker brush. It is flexable for a reason...the coat is separated with one hand and held, then with the brush in the other hand apply with the tip against the skin then flex brush so the bristles are against the coat and pull the hair up and away from the skin. If you hold the coat flat with one hand and repeat this action it will remove the thickest mats ever. As I say there is a technique to using this brush

Kiki, my moutain feist/rat terrier mix sheds like crazy! We went shopping for a deshedding brush to help, and bought this brush based on its features list. However, whenever I tried to use it on her, she'd try to escape. She really doesn't like it, so my husband would have to hold her while I tried to brush her. Even when we did successfully brush her, it didn't seem to pick up much hair, and the hair it did collect was hard to get out of the brush.

At the recommendation of a friend, we bought a Zoom Groom, and it works great! She loves to be brushed with it, too, so no need to have the hubby hold her down! Also, easy to remove hair from brush--just tap it on a flat surface & the hair falls out!

Cons: my dog hated it/uncomfortable, didn't seem to get much hair out, hard to remove hair from brush
