It is not the best. I honestly think I am feeding my hamster candy when I had tried feeding them this. I am going to stick with Oxbow and not try this ever again.

My hamster is kinda picky, so i got him this and he eats most of the food, just not the pellets. When i clean out his cage i always see pellets left in the bowl, But overall a great product.! My hammy and i are very happy with this!

Great mix for Gerbils

I buy the Hamster-Gerbil seed mix and I have been so pleased with the health of my gerbils. They always eat some of everything in the mix, and I have only had one bag that I didn't like because it had a few too many sunflower seeds, which I took out and used as treats instead. My gerbils have shiny coats and are a healthy weight. Best food ever, and I have used it for over a year! The only con is the slightly unpleasant smell, which I can easily overlook.

They dont like it at all

My hamster's won't touch this food, I have 3 robo dwarf hamsters and I bought this thinking they would love it because it got good ratings, but they hate it. They just run up to there bowl sniff, and then play in it, they dont eat it. I even replace it twice a day in hopes they'll eat it if its fresher. They much prefer eating there bedding as I witnessed it, I dont think this is a good food if you have dwarf hamsters.

My hamster Caramel Latte seems to really enjoy this food. She eats it all as soon as I put it in her cage and she always stuffs it into her cheeks when she has the chance! It's the perfect food for a perfect hamster!:)

My first hamster Holly LOVED this food and would stuff her cheeks full of it and run to her house.(Too cute).
My two other hamsters, Amigo and Mistletoe, didn't like this at all. They would go to their bowl looking for something yummy and when they didn't find it they came to me looking for treats. Won't take a chance and buy this again.

I used to use the Vitacraft Menu food, but for some reason petsmart stopped selling it. My hamsters are VERY picky. Seriously, they would only eat this, and the vitacraft.. weird huh? So i had no choice but to pick a new brand. This food seemed like the best, and my hammys actually like it. Its expensive though.. But as long as they eat it, im all for it! It's very healthy and has a lot of seeds and stuff in it too :)

I spent to much money for my 2 dwarf hammies to not even touch it! ITS A WAIST OF MONEY, try yogurt drops insted for a treat, they like those!!!!!!!!!!!

My hamster loves this food! It's very healthy and I like the fact that it has a mixture of different seeds. My hamster eats everything - all the seeds and other things in the mixture - unlike with other foods, where he just picks out what he wants to eat. All in all, great, healthy food that my hamster absolutely loves!

this has to be the best kaytee brand of food yet! i have the one with seeds for my hamsters and they love it. i noticed their coats were soft and shiney and they seem to be really healthy :) i've always used kaytee brand food and i will never use any other brand!"

I got this product because it had a lot of necessary vitamins and minerals that my gerbils needed. Poppy and Basil (My two gerbils) always pick out their favorites first... normally sunflower seeds. It is a good idea that after scooping out the food into the food bowl, that you remove most sunflower seeds. They are fatty and should be fed sparingly. My gerbils love their food and it keeps them happy and healthy. Please strongly consider to buy this product for a happy, healthy pet!
