When I first bought this food I was a little skeptical, but after I got it, I found that I had made the right choice! My guinea pig loves this food and the little vitamin C bits inside. I would recommend this food to all of my Cavy loving friends.

i do Not like this food oxbow is soooooo much better all of kaytees foods ARE NOT good for your pets but i LOVE oxbow its so so so much BETTER then kaytee this food is low low low quality soo i say oxbow.

Healthy, and tasty!

I have three guinea pigs, and one of them absolutely loves it! She would rather have this food rather than any other food, even the fattening ones with all of the extras in it. My other two guinea pigs though, will eat it, but aren't too happy about it. They love the food with extras in it but will eat this food if they have to. I do recommend this food because it depends on the guinea pig if they will like it, but it is one of the healthier food choices out there.

My guinea pigs love this food! Much better than Fiesta mix! Fiesta (for guinea pigs) doesn't give them enough nutrients, just treats that'll make them fat. This is great because it gives them vitamin C, and they need that to live. Honestly, you DO NOT need to provide vitamin C pills or water drops, because if they eat this, it's enough! (Trust me, my pigs are 2 years old and healthy, yet I've never given them Vitamin C pills.) Best food for the pigs!

i have a guinea pig that i got from petsmart i bought her this food beacause it looks healthy and doees not have any mixes since my guinea pig hates fruit and vegetables she eats this and i'm not worried that she will not be healthy and get sick she literally squeks and chew on her cage for me to give her some and i love that it has vitamin c for her and since it is kaytee the best brand for small animal food i totally recomend this product your guinea pig will love it

I love this product and feed it to my guinea pig Cleo. She absolutely has no problem eating it, she loves the taste smell and it's possibly the best food out there for guinea pigs because of the nutrients and calcium so I don't need to worry to much about whether my baby is getting what she needs from her diet. Also the price isn't too bad for the quality your getting from this product :)

When i got my guinea pigs i was nervous on the food because there are sooo many different kinds and i had no idea which ones were good. At the store in North Canton this is the food that they gave the guinea pigs. When i got home i read the package and it was very healthy and good for them! Needless to say... they love it and i dont ever plan on changing the food to anything else.

Good for young piggies

My 2 young female guinea pigs absolutely love this food! When I first got them I purchased the food the store had them on even though I knew it wasn't healthy but I didn't want to change everything all at once. I started getting this once my little cousin started feeding this to her bunny with good results (the bunny version). They now eat more than they used to (in a good way) and I know they're getting all they nutrients the need...for now. Sadly when the girls turn 1 I'll have to switch foods to one that's timothy hay based instead of alfalfa hay based as timothy's better for adult pigs. I wish they had a juvenile formula and an adult formula like the rabbit version of this food does, I'd really like to keep buying it.

I'm not sure how good this food is for his health, but my guinea pig does seem to enjoy eating it. I like to take the orange bits out because he tends to eat those and forget the pellets, which is not good. I especially like the fact that it is Vitamin C enriched which is a vital part of any guinea pig's diet.
