I have a 14 year old German Shepard with autoimmune disease. This shampoo keeps it under control and has been a blessing for us! I don't know what I would do without it! Thanks Petsmart!!

My lab has severe allergies to pollen, grass and fleas, and certain chemicals like carpet deodorizers, etc. Summer is always her worst season and this past summer was the worst yet. She sometimes develops a skin infection due to the incessant scratching, biting, and licking. In addition to her allergy shots and 9 Benadryl daily, I bathe her and her bedding once a week (as directed by our vet). I usually use a shampoo with either oatmeal or tea tree oil for her but I decided to try this because her normal shampoos are for soothing her skin, not for fighting infections - and they weren't cutting the odor associated with the infection. This shampoo definitely got rid of the odor but it also left her coat feeling like straw - even when used with a conditioner. I can't say whether or not it really helped fight the infection, as I ended up taking her back to the vet and he put her on oral antibiotics. I haven't used the shampoo again and probably won't. It's not terrible, I just don't think it really did much for her.

I have an English bulldog that has had a couple bacteria infections on his skin. The first time it happened he was on anti-biotics for 3 weeks. My poor boy has all the bulldog issues and is on meds a lot. This last time when I saw his skin looking like it had some bacteria going on I was determined to keep him off anti-biotics if at all possible. Well...this shampoo did the trick. After just two washes his skin is looking great and the infection is under control and healing. His fur that had become a little thin is growing back in. Plus, he smells great and is super soft. This stuff is great and I will be keeping it on hand and using it to keep his skin healthy.

I purchased this because my puppy had a bacterial skin infection. He was already on anti-biotics, but the smell coming from his coat was horrible. I used it exacly as directed and WOW. Once he was dry the stink was gone. He just smelled clean. Not like I just dunked him in perfume, just clean. It also brought up the loose fur so I could just brush it away. Now he is shedding a lot less and his coat is so shiny!

My dog has atopy and can get secondary skin infections as a result of his allergies. I tried this product because my vet recommended we bathe him with a shampoo containing chlorhexidine, which kills bacteria and fungus (the possible culprits of the secondary infections). This shampoo smells really good and I've never seen his coat so shiny after a bath. It seems to have knocked down the doggie odor too. I'm sold!
