I have an 11 year old Rat Terrier. The last couple of months he has not been eating well. This has caused his coat to become dry and brittle. We just started him on a new diet yesterday, and I bought this conditioner to try. It worked wonders on him. His hair is nice and soft. The shedding is down to a minimum. I wasn't crazy about the smell, but once my dog was dry there was only a nice clean smell that remained. I am going to wash my other Rat Terrier with this tomorrow. I picked this conditioner over the others that I saw because it had more oils in it than most. It was a great choice.
Pros: inexpensive, works great, really does improve shedding
Cons: scent is strong
