Not worth it

My 8 month old American Bulldog loved this toy, but he destroyed it in literally minutes. He got his teeth into the "seam" and tore it open and started eating pieces. But because he loved it so much, and I thought that maybe I had just happened to get a defective one, I went and bought another one. Money wasted - he destroyed the second one the same way just as fast. Bear in mind, he is a big chewer, but I thought this would last because the only toys that seem to survive with him are his Kong toys.

My dogs all loved this toy. The problem is that the level of durability is not equal to the level of fun-ness. The toy was ruined in a few hours. (It would have been quicker but the NONSTOP squeaking was driving me nuts so I had to keep putting the toy away.) First they sat and peeled off all the tennis fuzz. Once they got it down to the rubbery part they just started ripping off chunks like there was no tomorrow. I will say that my dogs are expert toy destroyers, so a less chew-crazy dog would probably be fine, but for me this isn't worth the money.
Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained
Cons: loud, easily destroyed

I bought one of these, as well as the tennis ball they also make. My Parsons Russell had both stripped totally, and both squeakers removed within 2 minuets of recieving them! Unfortunally my money was wasted!

My corgi LOOOVED it, but I didn't love it. The tennis ball skin comes off very easily so my corgi skinned the toy in an hour. Without the skin, the squeaker fell out really easily so he only got about 2 hours of fun before he chewed up the toy

I bought the large size as I have a 6.5 month old German Shepherd mix puppy. This toy is great, it squeaks where ever he bites it, no squeaker "spot" to go after. He is a very aggressive chewer now that he has his big boy teeth and this toy is durable enough to stand up to him. We've been through more toys than I can count and love that I found this one!!:)
