Not recommended for larger turtles. My red eared slider is 3 years old now and about 5.5" and he can't go on it without it sinking. I have the medium sized one.

Once my little turtle grew out of his smaller turtle dock I needed to find something different for him. I found this turtle bank at Petsmart and I tell you what, It is the best dock I have ever found! There is no akwardness to it for the turtle, the magnets are a nice touch, and most of all he loves it. He stretches out his legs and even lays his little turtle head down and rests on it. I am so happy to have this in his tank and I cant imagine anything better!

I have the medium size landing a after cleanig and setting it up my Alabama False Map loves it he was hesitant at first becase it was new to thetank but then he climed right up and spread his cute little webed toes bascking :) only drawback if any I notice is a few times the magnets fall off if my turtle gets excited otherwise its perfect it keeps him out of the water its thick and flats well, its easy to clean.
Pros: stylish, easy to clean, sturdy

I got this dock for my new, small fire belly toad I got at Petsmart. He was going to go into my 10 gallon fishtank with my betta and mollies and needed a place to sit. It did the trick, but it came with no directions, and 1 magnet, but the magnet is very strong. Also, it would not float right, part would always be under water. Sadly, that fire belly toad escaped the tank and suffocated under a dog bed, but petsmart gladly refunded me and gave me a new toad, who is now in her own 18 gallon bin, and is getting a friend today. The magnetic dock is now a hinding space for her.

Cons: price, low quality

I purchased this for my 4 year old slider. After watching her struggle on the small suction cup platforms I got the largest size so she would have plenty of room to bask.
She took to it as soon as I put it in the tank. It doesn't sink under her weight, she has more than enough room to stretch out and get maximum basking at all times and she isn't under water at all.
It is lovely and secure in the corner of her tank and she has tons of room to swim under the platform as well. No more floating islands in the middle of the tank because she's pulled the suction cups off the glass.
Pros: stylish, sturdy

I got this for my turtle, Sampson. For starters, he could barely get onto it. It doesnt have a ramp and he just isnt strong enough to pull himself up. Secondly, when he did get up, after I made a makeshift ladder, it tiltes so much that my poor baby practically got thrown off. The magnets arent strong at all and the sides of the dock are only magnetized in three places so you cant even add more magnets to it. I'd come down in the mornings and find the dock floating in the middle of the tank. Very low quality stuff. The only pro is that it looks nice.

I bought the small size of thie turtle bank and it works great and it is really easy to clean! The magnets are really strong and my little peanut seems to enjoy stretching his front right leg and back left leg out getting some sun. :)
Pros: sturdy, easy to clean

I previously had the ZooMed Turtle Dock for my turtle but it became such a hassel...(my turtle always got under the suction cup bar and would remove it from the wall AND cleaning it was a nightmare..it collected algae like crazy and after cleaning and scrubbing it over time it became to deteriorate the surface.) SO i gave this Exo Terra Turtle Bank a try. I personally love it. Since its magnetic my turtle can no longer yank it away from the wall. Also, cleaning the algae off of it seems better than the ZooMed Turtle Dock. There is always a little bit of algae on the end, which is expected, but its a lot easier to clean. HOWEVER, i wish this dock had more of a submerged ramp. My turtle tries to pull herself onto the dock but she just can't do it. Granted she is a little heavy turtle, she's only 5-6 in. long. I feel like she should be able to get herself on there. I think smaller baby turtles would have better luck possibly. If only the end was more submerged.....this could've been a perfect purchase. Now im on the lookout for yet another dock that would better suit her.
I would only recommend if you have a smaller turtle
Pros: easy to clean, durable
Cons: ramp is not submerged enough

Bought this for my 3 year old painted turtle (female) and she absolutly loved it. After I finished cleaning the tank and putting everything in, she got right in climbed on the basking area and just layed there. She loves it and the fact that it self adjusts isn't a bad feature either. Haha. :) Bottom line, if your looking for a good basking area for your turtles, then buy this turtle bank.
Pros: self-adjusting, natural looking, large, roomy
Cons: none!

I needed some dry land for my aquatic turtles to bask on, so I bought the medium size turtle bank (for two baby turtles). I love it! They use it every day (although I had to take a few minutes to teach the littlest one how to get up on it). It is very attractive and natural looking. You can barely see the magnets that hold it in place, and it automatically adjusts to changing water levels, so the turtles always have access to it. It is far better looking than any other product like it.
Pros: handsome, useful, automatically adjusts
Cons: none
