My Senegals were weaned to this formula as babies and I've kept them on it since. Some have had their birds' droppings change color from the dyes in this food, but mine have always been that regular old green :P I also feed them the Natural type of this food as well and they eat it just as well as the fruit, nothing is left in the bowl but dust. It's a little on the expensive side but seeing as most of it goes into the bird and not on the floor it is worth it, plus it's from Zupreem so you know you're giving them something good!
The biggest con I have found is that some birds like to dip it in their water dishes which quickly spoils the water. Maybe try a water bottle or wet this food before offering it to your parrots.

My conure loved this food until they changed the formula in July 2012. Now, he won't touch it. Wish they had advertised that the formula was changing so I could have perhaps transitioned him to the new food. I'll not buy ZuPreem again.

I am owned by a flock of 10 parrots, from a lovebird up to my largest, a red-headed Amazon. At first, just about all of them very picky about what they ate which drove me crazy trying to satisfy them. In talking to many bird experts and avian vets, Zupreem seemed to the food of choice if you wanted healthy, long living birds. Many who give their birds a seed only diet are unwittingly giving their birds a death sentence. Little by little, I switched all my birds from whatever they were eating to a diet of Zupreem along with an ample supply of fruits and veggies. Now, they're all eating healthier and my life is much simplified. Another poster said that Zupreem was too big for his conures. For my lovebird, sun conure, green cheek, and Nanday, Zupreem has pellet sizes that are perfect for them. For my Amazon, white capped pionuses, and white bellied caique, I use the large parrot size. Along with homemade birdie bread and plenty of fruite and all types of veggies, my guys are happy, healthy, and full of vibrant colors. Other companies might make 100% nutritionally balanced pellets, but I am extremely happy with Zupreem products.
Pros: the best (in my opinion) parrot food out there
Cons: none at all

My Green Cheek Conure had trouble eating these

This is another food that my green cheek struggled to eat due to it's larger size. Most of the time he would not pick these up but when he would drop it after scraping a little dust off. I switched to Kaytee Exact Pellets for Cockatiels. They may not have the perfect blend for Conures but it has to be better than no pellets. I am sure that these pellets are made of quality ingredients and I just started using this brand of finch pellets. I like the Kaytee pellets for Cockatiels for my Conure because they are very thin and my conures have no trouble at all biting a little piece off. Larger Conures would be able to break pieces off and chew this but it is tough for my Green Cheeks based on my observations.
Pros: quality ingredients, nutritious food for larger conures
Cons: smaller conures may not eat this
