This is good prices and value more hay with a lower price than the Kaytee kind. Just there are some parts with hay in dust form something very minor though so instead of getting Kaytee and Oxbow get this about 2$ or 3$ cheaper.
Pros: smell, taste, price
Cons: dusty

I usually buy Kaytee's timothy hay, but I saw that this hay was cheaper, so I decided to give it a try. My bunny didn't use to eat much hay, but now he eats a ton!

I got this hay when I first got my guinea pig. He loved it, he ate it constantly. I wasn't very happy when I got toward the bottom of the bag and it was tiny pieces that were only good for bedding. I'm using Oxbow now, and he doesn't seem to like it as much. Go figure!

Hmmm...

I started out with this hay for my guinea pig. I thought it was great; good price, good quality and good packaging. When I ran out, I decided to buy the more expensive hay; boy, was I surprised when it made all the difference! It smelled better, looked appealing and only had a little larger price tag.
It's up to you; bargain bag baloney or heavenly hay?
Pros: price
Cons: everything!!!

Generic brands aren't always great!

When I first got my guinea pig, I bought a cheap generic brand of hay. It was brittle and low quality, and it didn't work well. I changed to Kaytee's Timothy Hay and so far, so good. I'd rather pay the extra five dollars for some rich-smelling hay then pay a few bucks for some gross dry grass.
Pros: price
Cons: quality; brittle and gross, switched to kaytee

I guess if you start with this hay withouth trying other, you may be happy with it. I started with other Timothy Hay and I am going to buy that one and keep this one as an emergency supplies.
Drreat Choice is cheaper, but
- my bunny never eats it all, he mixes it with the bedding, which is not difficult, as the hay is in so short peaces. He never had leftovers of the other major brand in the cage.
- there are too short peaces, you probably make big mess around the cage putting this hay in. It is almost the same as using the grass from the mower after mowing our backyard. :-)
- opening the bag with this and the other one is uncomparable experience - the that hay just smell wonderful, it fills the room with smell of summer days in the countryside. :-)
So I will just stock up when the other more expensive brand is on sale and will have much more enjoyable hay for comparable price.

My Syrian Hamsters use their hay as a bedding they mix it in to where they sleep and their regular bedding. As long as it makes them happy ill keep buying it.
