My vet recommended changing my canary (Wiggy) to food pellets.It took him like a day to get use to eating pellets.Know that he is use to eating pellets not one portion goes to waste!HE eats it all!Its better than bird seed because he can be picky and leave certain pieces behind which is a waste of money!
Its pricey but since he eats it all its more worth spending 8.99 on Zupreme than 8.99 on bird seed.The only down side is that it contains artificial colors but that won't kill him.
