My 4.5 pound Chihuahua loves this formula. The very small kibble is perfect for her tiny teeth. We have 4 dogs though so wish the price was a little bit more family friendly and also the larger sized bags availablle for the small/toy breed dog food.

I have a 6-year old Yorkie who has had skin and allergy issues since she was a pup. I tried switching foods several times and nothing seemed to help and she was getting Benedryl daily to try and combat the itching. Her hair was thinning and she was getting a bald patch on her back. About 5 months ago, I tried AvoDerm for her and within a couple weeks there was a noticable difference. Her coat is now thick and shiny, she has more energy, and overall seems a healthier dog. While a little pricier than even some of the other premium brands, I have no intention of switching her food again anytime soon.

We have 2 Japanese Chin, 1 peke and one Chin mix. They all love this food. the kibbles are tiny, which is perfect for two of them that have tiny teeth. All the dogs did very well eating this. Unfortunately, with four dogs the small bags make it impractical and far to expensive to use. If they packaged this in a larger size, we would have our food!

I have a 5 month old Shihtzu who's picky and has some allergies to some dog foods. I've also researched a lot and after a lot of searching found that Avoderm is the best out there. It has healthy, non contriversal ingredients, except for maybe the Avacodo's, which are perfectly fine for dogs. No fillers, by-products, corn or wheat. They have a grain free line, but the grains they do use are very good like brown rice. Also AvoDerm seems to be the only company that hasn't had any recalls like some of the other high end foods. I've read a lot of reviews from dog owners and I haven't seen one negative comment about the kibble. Also I like that it has just enough protein and not overloaded with it, that can have adverse affects on many pets. It comes in 3.5 and 7lbs sizes. The kibble looks like small triangles.

My little guy has always been on premium dog foods, but never found one he liked. He started having seizures after eating too many treats. My pet store gave me a free sample of AvoDerm chicken & rice and he loved it. He now only eats AvoDerm dry mixed with canned and their treats. He looks so healthy. Best part is no more seizures!!!
