Effectiveness
I used this on my Saint Bernard when he got a hot spot. It worked great, when several other remedies did not. It's the only OTC product I've found that actually targets the bacterial infection.

Effectiveness
This works great for hotspots. My mastiff has had hotspots which can appear within hours and grow quickly. Although this doesn't dry the hotspot, it kills the bacteria which keeps it from growing. You have to check the hotspot several times a day and apply this several times a day but it will get better. This is by far the best product I have used. I always have a full bottle in my home because with hotspots you have to act quickly or they will get out of hand.
