My dog hurt her elbow and our Vet. said she needed to take glucosamine. I tried other products but they were a struggle to get her to take. I tried Nutri- Vet Peanut Butter Wafers and she loved them. That is what I continue to give her.
Pros: dog loves it, price

I think there might have been a big formula change to these biscuits recently, as the ingredients listed on the bag I bought from PetSmart a week ago are nothing like the ones listed here. Here's what I see on my bag if anyone's interested: Active Ingredients: Glucosamine HCL 166 MG Inactive Ingredients: Brewers dried yeast, calcium ascorbate, calcium carbonate, calcium iodate, calcium pantothenate, chicken meal, choline chloride, copper proteinate, copper sulfate, dicalcium phosphate, distillers dried grains with solubles, dried cane molasses, dried whole egg, dried skimmed milk, ferrous sulfate, fish meal, folic acid, ground peanuts, ground whole wheat, malted barley flour, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, niacin supplement, potassium chloride, poultry fat, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin supplement, salt, sodium metabisulfite, sodium selenite, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin a supplement, vitamin b12 supplement, vitamin d3 supplement, vitamin e supplement, wheat flour, wheat germ meal, zinc proteinate, zinc sulfate
I'm curious to know which is the more recent ingredient list. If the one posted here is, I won't be buying another bag (soybean meal, yuck - unnamed meat source, double yuck). However, I'm pretty satisfied with the bag I bought. I have an older pit bull who is just entering her senior years. Her joints aren't what they used to be. She has arthritis and is showing signs of hip dysplasia. It is nearly impossible to get her to take pills. Whenever we have to, we have to force them down her throat. I wanted to put her on a joint supplement, but didn't want to deal with forcing her to take a pill daily. While in PetSmart, I saw these biscuits and picked up a bag. I was hesitant and doubtful, but they seem to be working. She has been walking better (but still seems to have a sort of "limp" characteristic of dysplasia). And she takes these just as willingly as she takes any other dog treat. I definitely recommend them. However, once again, I hope the ingredients on my bag are the current ones - or that the ingredients I see here are simply a mistake.

I had my baby on the glucosime tablets and had trouble after a while getting her to take them. When I saw these bones I got a bag of them and she loves them. She gets 1 every morning with her Bacon slice and she even goes over to where I have them after she comes in from going outside in the mornings. I am glad I found them. She is a Golden Retriever that will be 5yr/old next mo. and I had a Golden to pass away from Doggy Alzheimers, Arthritis. I am trying to keep her from getting arthrititis. She is our baby. Her name is ANGEL.
Pros: dog loves it, taste, high quality ingredients, price
