I just recently got a five gallon tank for my Betta, Mew, and I got this gravel to go with it. It provides just enough color to brighten up the tank without being too bright. I would definitely recommend this product to any fish owner! My fishy seems to love it too!

I got this gravel for my Betta fish, Sushi II's tank. It works well, holds the decoration up, hides the fish tank funk well, but the color is starting to wear. I've only had the gravel two months, so it's annoying that the black coloring is wearing off. It does make it harder to find my fish sometimes, as he is dark purple/blue and blends with the gravel well. It rinses and cleans easy enough, although next time, I will probably opt for a natural color where the paint won't fade/chip away.

I just bought this today at my local petsmart and it brightens up the tank as soon as you clean it! I would definatly recommend this to anybody with a 5 Gallon tank.

I have a dark blue male betta (named Azul, yes I did name my dark blue fish, Azul = blue in spanish ;) ). I first only used the white gravel to start with, it looked nice, but it just didn't hide anything, but my snail. So when I had to get a new tank, a couple of days ago, I decided to change to gravel color to a different one to see if it was just me. I got this one and so far so good I can't see any kind of gunk. but on the down side it takes me a couple of seconds to find my Azul, but that's just because of his coloring.

i love this gravel it helped me find a baby guppy on the bottom of my tank find extra food the only con is the paint on the black sometimes wears of but mine hasent yet

Cute gravel desing! This goes well with my aquarium decorations. All my aquarium needs now is a background to complete the look.

This gravel is good to use with your aquarium, it adds enough color in your gravel without having too much of it.

This gravel is great for a kids aquarium or a colorful aquarium

I got a 10gal tank for Christmas a few months ago. Along with this gravel, I added 4 brightly colored artificial plants and two caves for my fish to swim around in. It doesn't fade and if any algae grows on it, you can hardly tell! I'm sure whatever color gravel you choose, you'll be happy with this brand. "Starry Night" is great and adds color, but not too much to the aquarium.

I really like this kind of gravel, I have it in two of my aquariums and it is just gorgeous, the only thing I don't like about this brand of gravel, is that it's some times a pain to clean. Other than that it's great

Great gravel to add just the right amount of color to any tank. Also greatly compliments GLO-fish and other brightly colored tropical fish. Fun for any age because the gravel is fun and brightly colored in the regular light or it can fluoresce in blacklight. Easily conceals dirt and fallen food particles between cleanings! -- Make sure to run it through water multiple times before putting it in the tank for the first time to get any chips of paint off or debris that may cloud your water!

Pros: keeps tank looking clean, brightly colored, glows in blacklight

Cons: paint wears off gravel slowly over time

I was just going to get black gravel for my moor's new tank, but these rocks look really great against my moor's. They look picking through them too. lol These rocks made especially for Petsmart are very good quality. Some rocks will start to loose their color but these rocks hold up really well.

Pros: look nice hold their color.
