I got this for my betta. It is pretty but, the paint chipped off a little when i added the water. I scooped out and it hasn't done that since. I got the color starry night.

Great gravel, and a great tank! (Top Fin)
I purchased a ten gallon aquarium, along with a five pound bag of black gravel rock. If you are getting any aquarium that is ten or more gallons, i would recommend getting more than five pounds. After i washed off the rocks and put them into the aquarium, their was multiple spots everywhere on the botom where there were no rocks, because there was so few in the bag. I would have to say, if you are getting ten gallon or anything bigger than that, for sure get much bigger bag than five pounds. I got black gravel to go along with my colorsful rock that i had, with my old tank. I mixed it and i goes perfectly. (: great product.
Bottom line; If you want to fill your ten gallon tank or larger with this gravel, or any gravel or sand in general, DEFFINETLY get more than five pounds, there is NOT enough gravel in a five pound bag to fill ten gallons. :)

These are beautiful rocks overall, but some food and fish waste does get stuck in between them. You can clean them easily by rinsing them off in a sifting bowl.

Nice colors, and most of the rocks are large enough to not be a danger for little goldfish eating the leftovers :)

the green mixed with the red
i got the raspberry red at first in a 5lb bag, and being me kind of got bored with it so i got a 2lb bag of the green and took about 2lbs of the red and replaced it with the green. it looks really awesome. my betta is green/blue/red and the gravel highlights his colors. i gave this four stars because the waste gets stuck in there so they have to get a good cleaning every once in a while.

i would reccomend this to anybody who owns a 5 G. tank the problem that i don't like is that when you pour in the water little piece of excess gravel floats to the top.

Cute and appropriate amount for small tanks. I have the rainbow color (not pictured).
Pros: cute., good - size pebbles., not a choking hazard for small fish.
Cons: must be cleaned frequently., waste gets stuck in rocks., food gets stuck in rocks.
