Our 6 month old puppy LOVES to destroy his toys, so we needed to find something that could outlast the week (at least!). We thought this toy fit the bill. solid but pliable plastic, ropes for days, no distinct corners... YES!!

Nope, we were wrong. He LOVED the toy, which was a good thing. However, within an hour, he had already begun to bite huge chunks of the plastic from the bone that we were finding all over the floor. It is a waste of $7.

This toy is a lot of fun and I suggest supervising your dog while he plays with it. I got it for my Lab puppy who tried to destroy it quickly. She bit some small pieces off it and I guess she must also have swallowed a few. She had a lot of fun with it, but I took it away from her for now, because she still likes to chew.

Like one of the other reviewer mentioned, the quality of this product is disappointing. I have a 25 lb beagle and within 1 hr of playing with the large version of this, he had already eaten the corners of the rubber/plastic part. I mean, he absolutely loved it from the get go and the design is great, but the quality is just terrible. Until they upgrade the rubber quality, this is an instant $6-7 into the trash.

I liked this toy and my almost 1 year old puppy liked this toy. She tore it up the first day she had pieces of the rope off and chewed pieces of the nubs off. Now the rope is completely ruined and the ends of the bone are chewed off.

9lb maltapoo chewing nubs off in only a week. Wouldn't recommend this at all and for sure won't be buying anymore. Just glad my bigger dog wasn't interested in it at all since he destroys things quickly if possible.

My 11 year old, Pepper, and my 3 month old, Pinto, LOVE playing different games with this toy. One of them is where Pepper has to stop Pinto from getting the toy and if he gets it, she has to get it back! It's so cute! They play Tug-Of-War with it, too! The ONLY bad thing I can really say is, the very ends of the ropes didn't hold up to Pinto's teething very well...the rope is still there, but they're just fringes (that he likes to eat, by the way!) He doesn't pull much off, so it's not really that bad....especially not compared to how much he loves it!

Note: In the picture is Pinto demonstrating how a teething puppy could try eating the fringes.....(I supervise him with this toy and take it away accordingly...)

Pros: both puppy & dog love it

Cons: doesn't last as well as i'd like for teething pupp

i bought this for my sharpei/beagle he was 6 months at the time he loves ropes so when i bought this hom efor him he was very happy i got the larger green one and it lasted all the way till he was a YEAR OLD i would buy another one wish they had purple thats his color :) or red my favoret but green will do i would buy this product again and recomend to anyone

Within 3 minutes my 6 month old Jack Russell already had the corner of the plastic bone in pieces and en route to his stomach. I should have known the price was too good to be true. I dont recommend this product due to it not being able to hold up to simple chewing.
