My two parakeets (Kiwi and Cerezo) dont really notice it. Once one of my parakeets went in the bird bath because it was scared. He didnt really see the clear plastic so he kept hitting it then eventually i had to save him. so i returned the product. A few weeks later they started to take baths in there water bowl. -_-"

I bought this at petsmart when I bought my 2 parakeets and I think they are scared of it b/c they never go in it. We think they have taken a little dip b/c the water is lower than b4 but so far its pretty pointless. Im sure some birds will like it, just not mine.

Pros: looks cool

Cons: birds kinda ignore it

This works great for my society finch cage. They love to take a bath every day and this allows them to get a good bath and it keeps water from splashing onto my carpet. Some water splashes into the cage. It takes a little effort to get the dome snapped onto the plastic dish. Once it is snapped on correctly the rubber gasket will make a good seal and there is no leaks. These come in a few different colors.

Pros: large enough for a smaller bird to get in, keeps water contained, easily removed from cage for cleaning, innovative design

If you have a cage with a large front door that slides up (such as the Triple Roof parakeet cage by Prevue) then this is absolutely the answer to your search for a great bird bath. It is well designed and manufactured. It fits on the cage beautifully. It has black rubber so that the plastic dome doesn't rattle, but rather fits snugly into the base. And the dome is really large so you can see your birds enjoying themselves. I've looked at all the bird baths for my model cage, and this is the only one that works, and it works well. I only comment when I find a product that deserves top marks, so buy it with confidence: and it's sensibly priced to boot. I tried it on another cage with a smaller front door that slides up (about 4" across) and it works with that cage too.

Pros: beautiful large full-view dome
