Well, my teils are new, and I put this at the bottom of the cage, but they don't really play with it. I'm sure they will as they get used to the cage. It looks really good though. I'm sure if I put it higher they will play with it! :D

My two parakeets hated this toy. They did not like the rattling noise it makes when they turn it so I put it in my rats cage. They went nuts over it. They spend at least twenty minutes a day playing with it and they haven't chewed it to bits like their other toys. I would recommend this toy to any rat owner as long as you don't mind the noise it make in the middle of the night when they play with it. I give this four stars because it is hard to put on and take off the cage, and it didn't work for my parakeets but my rats love it.

Pros: durable, Keeps Pet Entertained, price

My keets seem to enjoy this toy when they are interested in playing with it. They like to play with the bells and gradually make the petals spin. When the petals do spin, they seem to like the rattling noise the toy gives off. I cannot say that this is their favorite toy, since it does not seem to keep their attention for very long. But, when they do play with it, they seem to enjoy themselves.

I would still recommend this toy to keet owners because it does have the potential to be a favorite toy to some keets. Every keet has his or her own personality, so you do not know if it will be a hit or miss. Happy shopping!

I'm very surprised about the negative reviews on this product. I bought this toy for my cockatiel because it has 2 different moving parts, the toy itself and the beads inside. It also makes little rattle noises. My cockatiel doesn't play with it much, but when the budgies visit, they can't get enough of it.

Pros: makes sound, moves in two places, bright colours, easy to put on, sturdy

I bought this toy TWICE for my budgies and they never got the chance to use it. The little connector between the front rotation part and the back which clips to the cage bar is very flimsy and weak. The firs time I bought it, it broke in the bag on the way home. I figure I must have squished the bag or banged it without knowing. It looked like such a fun toy so I repurchased it and when I was screwing it to the cage bar it broke AGAIN...in the same fashion. I would not recommend this toy to anyone. It looks fun with the bells and the beads but will not last a day.

I bought 1, my friend bought 1 for our lovebirds. The tiny plastic piece that attaches the wheel to the perch hanger keeps breaking off. Both of us have tried an assortment of glues to repair it. Nothing works. Faulty design.
