I echo what nicado wrote. My cat was constantly dry heaving with hairballs. It was a fight to get him to take the laxatone and more of it ended up on the walls, furniture and carpet that in his stomach! I tried a couple of other hairball remedies with the same results, but the paw gel he loves!! He will lick it off my finger or I can put it in his dish & he will lap it up. Great product I highly recommend!

My cat suffered from hairball blockages regularly and dry heaved constantly. I tried regular veteranarian-prescribed laxatone and she hated it. It was beef flavored and when I tried to put it on her paw or nose- she would flick it off and it would get everywhere! I offered it to her right out of the tube like the directions said I could. She licked it right up and now I don't even have to hunt her down to give it her. I just pop the tube open and she comes running. The other cat is interested as well and a little nip of it once in a while makes her happy too. I totally recommend this product for any cat!
