Not bad,

"They are flimsy but easy to put together. Too small for my little Yorkie since my bed is so high. Not bad for the price!"

"I love this and so does my dog. I still had to lower my bed a little because it is not very tall but it works great. The only thing I am not happy with is that for one extra step it is $20.00, and you have to order it. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone!"

Handy and Durable,
June 9, 2009
by PugsRock
from Overland Park, KS
"I have had a set of these for a couple of years and they are great. My two pugs have knee problems and these steps save wear and tear on their joints. The dogs are comfortable using them going up and coming down and they use them many times each day. The steps have held up very well. Perfect for small or older, arthritic pets."

I'm buying a second one,
May 5, 2009
by Kaya
from Norcross, GA
Pros: price, easy to assemble
"This product is great, I have a 12 lb min-pin who is having trouble jumping up on my sofa and other places. I bought this item and my only complaint is that I don't have more and I move this around to multiple locations for him to use. It is made of plastic and probably is not good for heavier dogs but works just fine for small dogs. It was a lot cheaper than most of the doggie steps I saw online."

Great Product,
May 4, 2009
by lrami
from Sa Antonio, TX
Pros: light enough to move around Cons: could use another step
"This product was so easy to put together. I had it together in five minutes. My dog will go up the step but won't come down. He still prefers to jump off. Once you put on the cover the steps are very sturdy. My dog weighs 12 lbs the steps don't wobble. I am very happy with this product and for the price you can't beat it. I do need an extra step since my bed is high."

Short Steps, but can be adequate,
May 4, 2009
by ChiOwner73
from Virginia
"I have a 6 lb. chihuahua who will only use this to get on and off the bed.
These steps are short, lightweight and somewhat sturdy, and are definitely NOT for a heavy dog. If you have wood floors, the steps will slip around a LOT! I have wood floors in the living and was concerned about my chi jumping on and off the couch. He didn't like the steps, because he could feel the steps slipping and refused to use it. After a year of coaxing him on it, he still would rather jump up and down the couch.
He does use them upstairs to get on the bed. If you have a standard, low bed/mattress, these stairs will do the job adequately. It's carpeted by the bed and is more sturdy. However, I've since gotten a higher bed and my chi could NOT use these steps. They needed to be twice as big. So, I've taken the steps by the couch, and have stacked them upstairs by the bed to double the number of steps. It took some modifications, but now works."

"I had purchased this identical product (not web-order) a while back. It is made of flimsy plastic, the cover does not fit and it definately will not hold up 70 lbs. My little 5 lb. dog would not even use it. She has a set of wooden (covered with automotive carpet) steps in the bedroom which she uses all the time. But, this product is not stable and most definately not worth $20. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have bought it even if it only cost $1. These steps are a waste of money and a total piece of junk."

Gus Loves His Doggy Steps,
May 3, 2009
by Gretchiesmom
from California
Pros: lightweight Cons: need to find a source for replaceable covers
"My dachshund Gus loves his Doggy Steps and actually has 3 sets: 2 3-steps for the couch, and 1 4-steps for the bed. They are lightweight but have held up well with everyday use."
