Pros: really moves and is hard to catch
"I have only had this zinger a few days but my yellow lab cross loves it! Some people have suggested that a small yard is ok but I find it really goes far especially if you have any hills since it bounces and rolls. Fortunately, we have a large hay field where I can throw it. We have also used it in the pond and the problem is that she likes it so well she abandoned her former favorite floating toy in the middle of the pond and tried to get me to fling the zinger instead."

"My girl does not fetch, and generally will only chase after other dogs. Tennis balls are not for her, so I was pleased that she will chase this ring all over. (I haven't quite gotten her to bring it back yet! We are working on it.) My only complaint is that the ring has split after less than a week. It doesn't look like damage from her chewing on it. It looks like the rubber split from hitting the ground. Be sure to pick up some replacements if your dog is hard on toys."

"I have a 3yr old black lab that loves any game of fetch and this really fits her. The first fast roll and the chase was on. Now she looks for this toy before any others. Beats the frisbee on windy days and the chuck-it as well. If your dog loves to chase and fetch then get ready for hours of fun."

Rue went crazy!,

Pros: entertaining to watch, better for small yards then the chuck-it, ring is easy to clean and stands up to tug of war Cons: the launcher could be a little stronger
"My goldendoodle Rue is a ball maniac, so it's usually difficult to hold her attention with anything that isn't ball shaped - she likes it as an occasional novelty but always returns to her ball. However, the minute she caught up with the zinger (the case is always funny to watch, as it goes under her, over her when she bounces it with her nose, and generally is a sneaky little toy) she forgot all about her ball! I would have given it five stars for quality except some children were playing with it a few days ago and by tapping it against the deck (they were waiting for Rue to come back), they snapped a bit of the launcher off. It wasn't brutal treatment by any means and Rue's chuck-it always endures, so I do feel they could make that a little bit stronger. Overall, with some words of caution to the kids, I am happily going to get a new one! I'd also say that the zinger is a great option for smaller yards vs. the chuck-it as the zinger doesn't launch as far but rolls the rest of the way - so it would be less likely to go over a fence."

"I have a Duck Tolling Retriever and he loves to retrieve so the Kong Zinger is mine and his favorite toy. He loves how far it goes and I love the ease in throwing it, my arm does not wear out before he does. Easy to use and great fun!!"

"This is the most incredible dog toy EVER!!! My dog is completely obsessed with chasing this ring. Very different from just throwing a ball in the air. The ring runs across the ground like a rabbit and my dog goes NUTS!"
