I bought a 5 gallon hex tank for my betta and it came with this filter cartridge, filter, etc.
I thought it was just some cheap-o filter but it really, really gets the job done!
Along with weekly partial water changes, this keeps my tank nice and clear and it wasn't too powerful to were it agitated my betta so he's stress free.
Pros: did far better than i thought, gentle enough for my picky betta
