I add this to my cat's litter and it smells SOOOO much better. When they scratch around it kicks the good smell up and masks the odor. Love this stuff, definitely worth it especially if you have multiple cats.

A Burst of Fresh Air

I got this product, along with arm&hammer pet fresh carpet and room freshener. I used them both and my room smelled AMAZING for the first few days. Every time I cleaned the litter box, I sprinkled a new layer of the deodorizer on top and immediately the toilet room would fill up with that fresh smell, but it just wasn't smelling the same as it did that FIRST day, even after starting over with fresh litter! I had to search for other air fresheners yesterday. I got some renuzit neutralizers (the candle-like kind that you twist and pull up) I got the fresh lavender which is one of the super odor eliminators. That worked nice the first day too, but today I found that the litter box has overpowered it completely. Even though it failed me, I still give arm&hammer 4 stars, because they tried soo hard at first! Alas, I do not believe that there is ANY product that will get rid of that litter box odor and that as cat people, we must stop fighting it and embrace it!

Pros: my room smelled amazing the first few days :)

Cons: it didn't last very long :(

I thought I might need this for a new kitten, but the litter seemed to do enough on its own. I still sprinkled a little in the box after cleaning and the cat seemed to like it.

I ended up using most of it as carpet freshener and it worked great for that, too.

Pros: good scent, baking soda, multi-purpose

Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer is a great product. I use scoopable cat litter and, after scooping the litter box of all waste, I sprinkle just a small amount of the Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer on top of the litter and then mix it in. It makes the litter box and the room smell great. Not much is needed so it lasts a long time.

Pros: smells good; don't need to use a lot
