Bought this to use on my toy poodle and greyhound. It works really good on my poodle. Works out the tangles.Also works well after her bath, drying with the dryer and brushing out the moisture.
I have to be a little careful with my greyhound and not press too hard. On her back and sides it is great,though. She likes the way it gets down to her skin.

This brush does fairly well at removing unwanted/shedding hair from my Pomeranian. She enjoys being brushed with it. The pins, I would imagine, are slightly uncomfortable, which is why I recommend for VERY hairy/thick coated dogs so that the pins don't bother them.

I use this brush And one other to clean my llamas. It works GREAT!! It cost a fraction of the ones I have found in catalogs & it is comfortable to handle. When it gets worn the pins fall out and sometimes I have to hot glue the joint in the handle so it doesn't slip.

My Chi and dane didnt like this brush, it hurt the chi while the it didnt do anything to do the dane. There are better brushes out there.

I got this for the price and think that it was a good deal.
I brush my corgi every other day with this brush and it removes a lot of fur. I should have gotten a size smaller because it is hard to get around his neck chest and belly.
My dog is slightly frightened of the brush so I have to give him a greenie while I brush him so he does try to get away.

Performance
This slicker brush works very well, and the price is almost unbeatable. There is a large variety of attractive colours. It collects a lot of hair and dirt and my only concern is that it is hard to clean. I use a comb to clean it out and it's almost as good as new. I highly recommend it.

This brush works great for my pomeranian and morkie (yorkie/maltese). It makes my morkie's coat suuuper soft and shiny and it makes my pom's coat perfectly de-matted and fluffy. It is my favorite brush. I have no problem with the shape, it works fine on my small dogs and I'm sure it would work great for larger breeds also. It is cheap, durable and has many colors to choose from, what a steal!
Pros: makes coat soft and shiny, de-mats, de-tangles, cheap, durable, cute colors

This brush would of been ok, too bad 1. my dog was scared of it, and 2. the shape is awful. Its a rectangle, so it works better for a larger dog. I have a dachshund, and it did not work for us.
Pros: soft, easy to use
Cons: rectangle shape

Purchased this for my dog is coat is so silky and shiny after using this brush he also never turns or get frightened showing it doesn't hurt/scare him.
Pros: silky and shiny coat
Cons: hair doesn't come out of the brush

I live near the woods, and my little terrier LOVES coming home with burrs all in his hair. This brush is great at getting everything out without hurting him. He seems to enjoy getting brushed by it. Maybe cuz i got it in the FABULOUS turquiose color :)
