AMAZING!, March 3, 2010
by Letti from Fort Worth, Texas

Pros: no mess, no urine odor
Cons: hard to find replacement pellets and pads, expensive replacement pads and pellets, no cover

"I have 2 medium sized cats and I have tried every litter and litter system there is and this one is it!! There is no ammonia odor and absolutely no litter tracking. My cats took to it right away and I have never looked back. The only thing about that is a bit annoying is having to buy the replacement pellets and pads and they are not as cheap as regular litter, but it is worth it to me. Also, you can wash the pellets outside in the box and re-use them a few times as the water just drains out the bottom of the box when you take the tray out. I also wish the box had a cover but again, I wouldn't go back to regular litter again."

LOVE IT!!, February 3, 2010
by sdobbe from Oregon

"I just love this litter box. I have three cats and two of these systems and I don't have any urine odor coming out of my litter box. I don't have to dig to scoop huge clumps of litter out of the box everyday. I don't have to vacuum up cat litter. It is simply the best. I did recommend this product to a friend of mine and she loves it too..
If you are having issues with strong urine odors from you litter box this is the system for you. It is wonderful. I will never use anything else."

Love it!!, January 24, 2010
by germanjen4 from Richmond, VA

Pros: easy to use
Cons: hard to find replacement pads & pellets

"This is such a great system! I had an automatic litterbox but my cat was tracking the dust & litter all over the house. I switched to this system after my mom told me about it & I absolutely love it. There is practically no dust and I rarely find any of the pellets outside of the box. You do need to change the pads weekly if you have one cat, more often for more. I empty the litter after I've gone through a bag of pads, which is about monthly. I've never smelled anything, except right after my cat does #2 (but it goes away). It is awesome!

I have to order the replacement pellets & pads online since they are so hard to find in stores. I've found some good deals on them, so don't let that deter you from using this!"

great product, January 2, 2010
by mandapants89 from wisconsin

Pros: cuts down odor, no tracking throughout house
Cons: refills arent always easily accessible

"i absolutely cant stand all the work that comes with a cat, ie cleaning their boxes etc, but then we found this litter system. I LOVE IT. our cat took to it without all the steps and doesnt have a problem with it. as long as you keep up with changing the pad every week, it doesnt smell at all. when they do their "other business" you can scoop it right away. we keep ours next to the toilet and it keeps it easy. the only downsides i would say i have noticed were that if you dont change the pellets every few weeks, our cat would stop using the box and instead use our clothes to go to the bathroom; the other is that you dont find the refills for it in too many places."

The Breeze system is incredible!, December 14, 2009
by BGSU3 from Charlotte, NC

"I have two cats, and they took to it immediately.
The instructions say to use one Breeze litterbox per cat, but they share with no problem. I just change the pad and the litter twice as often as the instructions dictate. There is virtually no odor from the box, unless one of the cats has just gone "#2".

This box has made a huge difference in our lives. My fiancee is allergic to cats, and the dust and odors from regular litterboxes really irritated her. Now she has no problems at all.

One person told me i could use regular pine pellets in the box. They didn't work well. Just use the proprietary pellets for the breeze, and it's..um...a breeze!"

good product, December 10, 2009
by Retti from Bend, OR

Pros: being able to keep an eye on my older cat.
Cons: finding pellets & pads

"I love this product. It is less smelly than other products and the cat doesn't track as much litter throughout the house. My cat also has urinary track issues so with the pad below I can easily see if something is wrong. Like others I also have problems finding the pellets and the pads but our local store is stocking them right now so I am buying as many as I can."

Awesome compared to regular litter!, October 30, 2009
by Kimbina from Boston, MA

Pros: no litter tracked around the house.
Cons: no hood or cover for the box.

"This litter box is far less smelly than regular litter. I scoop the box every day to every other day and change the pad about every week. There's no littler tracked all over the house, which is great and my cats have had no problem using the box. My only other comment on it is that it would be nice if there was a hood. For whatever reason, my cats are shy about using the box if anyone is around and looking at them."

Tidy Cat Breeze, October 13, 2009
by spackle from Wilson, NC

Cons: has been hard finding the litter pellets in stores

"This is a great product. Started my two kittens on it and almost two years later, I'm still appreciating it. Not too sure about how an older cat would adapt to the pellets after having used regular litter, but my kittens adapted just fine. I have to two adult cats and use two breeze litterboxes. I change the absorbent pads once a week, and usually average about three weeks on replacing the pellets in each box."

Easier cleanup and safer for male cats, October 10, 2009
by PensFan from Appleton, WI

Pros: no litter to vacuum up, safer for the cats, no dust, no urine smell
Cons: can't find refill pads or pellets

"I have two neutered males, one 8 lb and one 16 lb. I've had one Breeze system for over a year and one automatic clumping litter box. I think the breeze system is much cleaner and easier to use than the automatic litter box. With my auto boxes I've had to fix broken parts that cost as much as one Breeze system. Also, with the auto box, I was still vacuuming up litter from the floor every other day! (Hated that!) My big boy suffered from FLUTD and I read how clumping litter can add to that problem. I immediately threw out my auto box when another part broke and purchased another Breeze. My vet high recommends pellets vs. clay or clumping litter. The only problem is I find it very difficult to find refill pads or litter. I read the other post about how to clean/re-use the pellets - I may need to do that."

Better than old system, October 8, 2009
by 6gr8cats from Statesville, NC

Pros: less waste going in the trash, no litter tracking, easier cleanup
Cons: can't find replacement pads and pellets

"I have six indoor cats. I didn't really mind scooping the litterboxes and since I scooped 1 to 2 times a day, we never really had issues with odor. However, it drove me crazy having to vacuum the litter that they would get all over the laudry room and then track out and all the way down the hall. Someone recommended this and I decided to try and give it a try. They said it worked out to be cheaper. I now have 3 out of the 4 litter boxes converted over to the Breeze system. I figured out now that I have been using it, that with my crew, it's not going to be cheaper but about $5 to $10 more a week. If you have one litter box per cat and have normal size cats, it would probably be cheaper. But I have 2 ten pound cats, 2 fourteen pound cats and a 16 pounder and 19 pounder! When the 19 pounder pees, it takes up about a third of one pad. I estimate at this point that I will be changing the pads at least 2 to 4 times a week, and the pellets probably every 3 weeks instead of once a month. I just don't have the room for the 6 to 7 litter boxes that would be recommended. I'm still not sure if all my cats have used the new boxes and we did have a couple of incidents in the beginning of deficating in other rooms of the house, but have not had any in the last week so maybe they have adapted. I do absolutely love that the pellets do not track. A few do get dragged out, but it's easy to pick them up and throw them back in. Our youngest cat does play with the pellets and did try to eat them a few times, but seems to have stopped that. I'm not sure about the odor control yet because I still have the one old box left that is stinking to high heaven (since you have to stop cleaning them) but it will be getting thrown out and replaced tonight. Overall I like it so far, but will have to see over time. The main issue I have right now is that it is very difficult to find the replacement pads and pellets. Several stores carry the kit, but not the accessories."

A Great Dissapointment, October 5, 2009
by mlpenn from Seattle, WA

"This product seems like a good idea but in actuality its is not. First the product costly at $36 dollars for a cat litter box. The litter is about $8 dollars for a two pound bag and you would also need the pads that cost around $6 so your weekly total would be at least $22 dollars. This cost might be ok if it worked but it does not. My older cat refused to use it at all and left a lovely present on the floor. The two kittens thought the litter was delightful and tried to eat it and then kicked it all around the house. the litter is the real problem with this product it is super chunky and does not bound to the kitty poo which causes your'e home to smell like well cat poo. The first day I sccoped the box 4 times and it still smelled. On the second day I went back to the old litter box and litter. This product is an aweful waste of money as you realy can't return a used litter box. I am out about $75 dollars and kicking my self for it."

Fabulous!, September 28, 2009
by Kathlene from Bossier City, LA

Pros: great odor control, neat, no tiny litter pieces embedded in carpet, fair price for the value
Cons: refills hardly found at other retailers

"The Breeze Litter Box System was recommended to me by someone who has 2 or 3 cats. She was telling me about how she only changes the pad once a week and gets excellent odor control from this system. I purchased and set it up before bringing home my adopted cat, Bella. For even better odor control, I scoop out the solids almost daily and change the pad about 1-2 times per week. (Sometimes, I just pull out the pad tray and put it in the other way, as Bella seems to only urinate in specific areas of the box.) Remembering the ammonia smell of regular and clumping litter, I was pleased to find that the pad doesn't smell any worse than a wet diaper when you pull it out to change it. Otherwise, it would have to be saturated to near capacity in order to smell it at all. I change the litter about every 2 months, using two bags at a time. It's a vast improvement from the stinky "clumping" litter, and much neater, too. It may seem a little pricey for the system, but it's definitely worth it. This is the best alternative to those $300 litter systems."

Tidy Cat Breeze litter system, September 23, 2009
by beaversrj from Port St Lucie FL

"This is with out a doubt the best litter system I have ever used. I have3 Ferrets and trust me they make cat urine smell like Roses!! This system is amazing in that it does not absorb the urine but lets it drain into the pad and traps it and urine is where the odor is. The smell is almost completely eliminated and the fecal matter is easily scooped out and I add more litter once a week and completely restock it every two weeks. the really cool thing the dirty litter granules can be washed and lay them in the sun and they dry out and I reuse them over and over and only buy the pads. I change the pad once a day with 3 Ferrets and I and my family and friends are now able to REALLY enjoy our fuzzies. If it works for Ferrets trust me it will work for cats!"

pleasantly surprised, September 20, 2009
by sdbb54321 from Louisiana

"I have been skeptical about littler boxes doing what they say they will do but this time they delivered! My biggest complaint with my litter box is the tracking of litter in my laundry room and the smell. Well, the Breeze has eliminated these problems! I'm very happy with this product. Now, if I could find something for the shedding...."

Breeze System, September 4, 2009
by drjones from St. Louis, MO

Pros: love the concepts incorporated into the design.
Cons: stores in my area are not really stocked up as yet

"I like the concepts incorporated in this basic system. No electronics, no moving parts, no way to fail except in the case of an exceptionally quirky cat. I like the way it looks; the colors of the box itself and the color of the pellets. I like the separation of the urine and the feces so that they don't mix together and encourage bacterial growth. I like that it is easy to put together. I like that it helps reduce odors. I like that the litter is ecologically friendly and will discourage stripping of land to get the clay-type litter. I like that the pellets are not dusty and will reduce allergy reactions in my people and animal family members.
I like it that my cats are using the 2 boxes which I originally purchased a few days ago and I plan to purchase several more today in order to get the correct usage number of boxes which is one per cat plus one more. When I clean out the feces, I try to brush off the pellets so I can just toss the poo into the toilet. One cat is seriously burying his feces and the pellets are stuck. I would like to be able to toss all of the feces down the toilet, but I am unsure that the pellets are flushable as well. Either way, having a routine with this system will encourage me to do the deed and take better care of the litter boxes and my feline family members. I understand that this system is new to the stores in my area and that as people purchase supplies for these systems on a regular basis, the supply at the stores will meet the demand. They are just not there as yet. I am excited that this system is available and I hope to get a cleaner environment in which to live because of it."

I LOVE THIS...and Quincey does, also!, September 1, 2009
by MoonLite from Tampa, Fl

"I moved from a 1074 sq ft home to a bedroom in someone else's home. (Life's tough!) Had to get rid of an old fashioned litter system due to close quarters and....frankly...smell!

Visited a PetSmart, found this item, LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. He can dig 'till his heart's content, but there's no smell. And since he and I are *giggles* closer now, it's good there's no odor. LOVE IT.

I'm a 'green' person, and this is wonderful.

Oh, and did I say, "I LOVE IT!!!""

Best System Available, August 15, 2009
by disneyprncss77 from Alabama

Pros: easy to use
Cons: refills can be hard to find

"I have been using this system for my two cats for over 3 months now and it is FANTASTIC. Neither cat had a hard time transitioning to the system. The pellets are not tracked over the floor and the pad in the tray is easy to use and change on a weekly basis. I keep this litter box in my bathroom and have not smelled anything coming from the box at all.

There are other pellet style litters on the market and having worked in a vet clinic, I've been exposed to a great number of them. The pellets designed for this system do not absorb the urine creating the smell like the other pellet varieties do. The pellets for this system only have to be changed once a month unlike the other styles which need daily scooping. Use the refills designed for the system and you won't have any issues.

Follow the directions included with the system and use the pellets and pads designed for it. When you find refills available, buy all of them. They can be hard to find, but it's worth the search. You will never go back to any other litter box!"

Great Product!, August 12, 2009
by AshleyinKC from Kansas City

"I know the most recent reviews of this product are not very good. I just want to say I love this product!!! My cat does not have a problem with the pellets, however they are similar to the ones they used in the shelter before we brought her home a month ago. We have been changing the pad once a week like it suggested and we are about to change the pellets for the first time, after a month. There is no odor from the actual pellets or pad, just from the actual stool samples before we scoop it. Usually only one or two pellets stick to the stool. My cat doesn't have a problem tracking the pellets over the house either, they don't even fall out on to the floor near the box. I would greatly recommend this product because it's simple, easy, and odor free!

Also, if you purchase this, open up the box while your in the store, there's a five dollar coupon for the system, and a coupon for refills."
