This thing is amazing!!Its large,sleek ,and nice looking.i have it for my male beta called blood stained blade, and my female crown tail called black beauty and they love it!!! I REALLY RECOMEND IT!!!!

I don't like bowls, period. But, I got a fair fish, and if anyone knows anything about fair fish, they know that they tend to die within a week, even if they are in the most pristine home they can possibly be in. So, I got Fred this bowl because I didn't want to go all out if he was just going to die in a week. Well, Fred lived for almost a year. This bowl was unattractive just sitting there on my wrought iron rack. I even put small marbles and 2 small plants in there with him to try to make it look better. It honestly didn't help that much. It was hard to clean, and even with the weekly cleaning that I did, it still built up scum and left rings of it on the glass. I had to soak it in vinegar to get rid of the rings. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It isn't practical because it really isn't safe to keep any actual animal in.

P.S. I know people tend to keep bettas and goldfish in here. NOT A GOOD IDEA!!! Bettas should have a minimum of 2.5 gallons, but quite honestly should be kept in tanks that are 5 gallons and up. Goldfish should be kept in a bare minimum of 20 gallons per fish. So this is obviously not a proper home. I just did this because I honestly thought my fair fish would only last a few days.

Cons: hard to clean, flimsy

I'm keeping my Betta,Galileo,in this bowl,but I plan o upgrading him quite soon.He seems happy enough,but I know how much he'd love a 10 gallon :)
It is nice,but you can only fit a couple of things in it.

My betta liked it until he died. I was going to use the bowl again but my sister's stupid cat tipped it over and it has a crack in it now so I have to buy new ones. Since only a male betta can be the only male this is what I would recommend for breeding. It keeps the male alone and my betta even made bubble nests in the bowl. He wasn't not happy when I got a female though. My betta was perfectly happy and I recommend this.

My Betta Fish loved this bowl! It is very simple to clean and looked really nice with him swimming around in it. Because it's kind of simple (not that is's a bad thing), I recommend using lots of colors to make up for it's plainness.

I thought about getting this bowl for my betta fish after reading all the reviews. But after I took a trip to an art store, I changed my mind. This bowl is cheap looking and made of plastic with an ugly seal on the side. For half the price, you can get a nice glass bowl from an art store. I put my bowl in my office and my coworkers love stopping by to watch. I wouldn't want them to see a cheap plastic bowl when I can get a nice elegant looking one for half the price... but yes, you do have to change the water at least once a week. I change 1/3 of the water every 3 days... so far so good.

I have had this tank for over a year and it has been great! So far it has had 2 past bettas (don't worry I had them at different times) plus one current one. It is easy to clean and my betta (plus the other 2 I used to have) loves it! Plus it fits a hiding ornament plus a small plant. And, the first 2 fish I had were normal male bettas and the one I have now is a crown tail, so it's good for all bettas. Over all it's a great tank, and my fish have all loved it. I recomend to betta owners :)

I originally bought this bowl for my betta, and it ended up being a big mistake. All that was in this bowl was a small amount of gravel and a small ornament (Immortals ornament also purchased @ Petsmart). Apparently this was enough to fill the tank with sludge and I have to change the water every 3 days, which I'm not happy about :/ not recommending this product unless you enjoy cleaning fish tanks constantly.

Pros: sturdy, easy to install

This fish tank is ok for keeping a fish or two, no more than three because the bowl will become too crowded. I have mine sitting on my desk in my room, and it's only purpose is to house the extra betta I may get, considering I already have on in my big tank. He really liked hiding behind the plants. Oh, keep in mind that the bowl has like an 8 inch diameter, and it's very hard to decorate. My bowl has left over pebble gravel from my other tank and 2 small plants. I don't have a heater, but i plan on getting one because my fish just had babies, and I don't plan on letting my other fish eat them, so that's where they're going to go until they're older.

Pros: sturdy, easy to install

I put in the bushes and plants in that bowl and my fish is so cramped and i think this should be for people who just want a fish to have a pet not to decorate this bowl because it is impossible but its pretty much good so for starters yeah buy it.

I have a beta fish, and he's pretty happy! When I first got him 7 months ago, he was in this bowl, and now 7 months later he's still happy as can be. I think the appearance is much nicer than other beta fish bowls, but it's not much. It's fairly easy to clean, and I don't really have any problems with it! If you have a fish that doesn't need much water, this is the bowl!
